FlyIgnite
Just got a look at them and the comments are all saying itâs gonna be better than intel cpus. Im eventually going to upgrade my computer and was wondering if I should stick to the intel line or go for the newer AMDs thatâs are coming out. tekmage
It isn't really so one sided as all of these youtubers believe it is. The 7nm process does give AMD a leg up on Intel purely on a power usage stance. But, most importantly this gives them the headroom to clock their CPUs higher then their previous generation of chips. Very likely, the new AMD chips will be quite good for gaming and excellent for content creation. Intel chips will be on par but at a higher cost and more power usage due to them having yield problems with 7nm chips. Are AMD chips better? If you are looking for primarily a gaming chip with content creation on the side then switch. If your PC is used for much more then that, Intel is just as good if not better dependent on application and usage. There is always that question of budget, power usage, and upgradeability, too. Something to consider carefully.
