  1. I've been absent for a long while. I hope everyone is holding up okay. What a craptastic year 2022 has been. I've been focusing only on art. I'm not sure where modding is headed. I've grown weary of Bethesda.
  2. I uploaded some screenshots from Skyrim AE playthrough that I recently started. enjoy.
  3. At the end, I will miss my cats.
  4. I was finally able to get a refurbished laptop for my art tablet use.
  5. I overhauled and removed bad components from both the Asus ROG 73SW to give to a lady friend who recently found themselves without a working computer to use for work & Steam. I've also refreshed my Acer Ryzen 3 laptop so I can gift it to my GF's friend who finds themselves disabled and homebound. I use my Switch for gaming and I think being generous to people in need is more important right now. I'm not finding much motivation to do much as my health continues to decline. I si...
  6. I underestimated the hardware requirements for my art tablet so it will take me a another 5-6 months to get a better computer to update everything. All projects I'm working on are on hold til then.
  7. I have been dealing with some health issues so I'm way behind schedule on everything.
  8. Just as I get going again, I find out my battery on my laptop is half dead, and my hard drive is close behind it. :(
  9. The art overhaul on here is going to take longer than I would like for it to. I'm working on three pieces for the portfolio and that unfortunately takes priority.
  10. Asus obviously wanted this laptop to last a while. The processor still holds up very well in 2021. If the video card had 2 GB of ram, instead of just 1 GB It may just have aged better. The memory and HD upgrades helped quite a bit performance wise. Windows 10 is much snappier.
  11. With some major TLC and repairs, the Asus ROG 73SW laptop has been successfully upgraded and will be used for Art stuff.
  12. Currently nursing and upgrading a 9 year old Asus ROG 73SW Gaming Laptop back to life. DirectX12 support is limited and no Vulkan but excellent DX11 & OpenGL performance.
  13. I sincerely hope everyone here is having a better start of a new year then me. It's been an extraordinarily frustrating and poor week. I've had my bank account hacked into and some funds stolen, headaches with ebay sellers, a bad case of lethargy due to stress and anxiety.
  14. Ugh, need more CPU cores/threads for art programs. 2 cores just isn't cutting it. :(
  15. Few art pieces currently in progress but been sick for a few weeks now. I'll get back to it as situation allows. Be well, everyone.
  16. I was finally able to afford a decent art tablet with screen. It's not a Wacom but it should work well enough. I can't wait to start drawing again. It's been too long and I have plans to replace all of the mod pics to start.

Art tablet is set up and now the pursuit of my dreams begins.
  17. Version 2004 seems to work fine so far. No oddities and Cortana is still thankfully disabled.
  18. I will be porting some of my mods that are console compatible to Xbox One and PS4 in the near future. Sorry for such a long delay. Life has been bleh.

I've decided against porting my mods since Bethesda.net Launcher is something I want to use. I will, however, be opening up permissions for those who may be interested in porting my mods soon.

All of my Ecosystem mods, well as some of the other mods that would be compatible with both PS4/Xbox One has been given Port permissions for someone to port to the consoles.
  19. I added more memory and have SSD for faster workflow. Now, I just need a tablet, and software. I have a digital pen on the way. So close to being productive again.
  20. I could really use some donations to use for more memory, SSD, and some software tools.
  21. I'm very much interested right now in building a Fire Emblem style turn-based strategy game in UE that supports gamepads for PC. Uninterested in all the fluffy cutscenes and voice acting that take up obscene amounts of time. Focusing purely on animation, AI logic, map graphics and strategy.
  22. I am dropping development on a project I started in Unity a while back. Unity has become cluttered with junk and doesn't seem to optimize very well. I'm switching to Unreal Engine where optimizing things are not a chore, and easier to work with. It doesn't hurt that they have a vast library of assets to use either.

Can anything that's done in UE be converted to CE ( even if it's only with varied degrees of success ? )

I suppose it depends on what it is you are trying to convert and what tools you have available. It can be messy converting formats and something I personally wouldn't recommend. It may actually take more time to touch up then starting from scratch.
  23. Tides of Numenara has become my new favorite and almost rivaling how much I enjoyed Baldur's Gate II.
  24. The design of it reminds me of one of those steam boxes that ibuypower put out a few years back. I'm guessing you are excited for the exclusives on it? Your PC seems quite capable of running whatever you want it and likely a big portion of it will come to PC.
