Awesome. These look like they may be the solution to some people's SLI crashes and stuttering issues.

If you decide to try these (or even for updates of the official release, remember not to use the device manager to do so, because it will not remove the older driver files and you can end up with a mess.. (From the 304 release notes, page 31):

Uninstalling Drivers Using Device Manager is not Supported

Issue

On all supported versions of Microsoft Windows, uninstalling the NVIDIA driver using

the Windows Device Manager may not remove associated files or applications.

Explanation

Microsoft has confirmed that this behavior is by design. If you wish to uninstall the

NVIDIA driver, it is recommended that you do so using Add and Remove programs.

Been testing since last night and the new beta does seem to cut down on the stuttering and texture pop-in that got more prevalent with patch 1.7.

That is good news! :-D Does anyone have any idea when the prjected final will be out. I think I'd try the beta in the next week, but it'd be awkward if the final came out like the next day.
