UnholyShadow
In the description of the different artifacts of Tamriel, at the end of almost every one it says it never stays with one person for too long. I think that dumping this lack-luster description on almost every one is pretty weird, seeing as lots of lore in The Elder Scrolls is so well thought out. Does anyone else think this? InfiniteRealm
While it sounds rather tiring after a while, it has got a good reason - each of the artifacts they use is going to appear in most of their ES games, and this explains, in a very brief way, how that can be. UnholyShadow
Actually, that is a pretty good reason why. It actually makes sense now :P
Javalin
The Authors at Bethesda who create those books about the artifact seem to persue some sort of thing that happens, as the artifact is past on to the next person. Also what InfiniteRealm said For example, 1. A Warrior finds an incredibly rare piece of equipment in Cyrodiil. 2. Several Weeks later, while out adventuring- The warrior is cut down by bandits in Morrowind. 3. The bandits are tracked to their hide out, and killed by a group of Crusaders 4. The Injured Crusaders Journey to Skyrim, but are attacked and killed by a pack of mountain lions that haul their carcass' to a cave where they can feed their young. 5. A hunter goes into the cave in a hunting trip for mountain lions, and comes accross the rare artifact. Along with the bodies of the Crusaders. (Skyrim/Cyrodiil Border) 6. The Hunter is later ambushed by Nature-Loving Barbarians as he exits the cave (Lol?) (Skyrim/Cyrodiil Border) 7. The Barbarians take it to their encampment, to be later attacked by a group of battlemages. (Skyrim) I believe this is the course which takes place as how "Each artifact only stays with an owner for a short time"- I must admit, it does get boring from time to time :P Kind Regards, Jav'
