  1. To make armor and swords, you need photoshop, GIMP or similiar programs for texturing, and blender, wings 3d or any similiar program for creating the model. Along with this you will either need to read the tutorials for these programs or have an initial amount of experience with whatever software you choose when it comes to actually creating the item. In addition, you obviously need the CS, a link to which is on the CS Wiki linked earlier in the thread, and nifskope, to save your .nif model files and a .dds converter, to convert images to .dds so they can be used as textures.
  2. Put a few up, but the upload service I'm using at the moment is broken, I'll try imageshack when I get time, but I have a lot more screens, so it will be slow
  3. Knowing how the CS works doesn't disillusion me, but it does distract me, when playing Fallout or Oblivion, when I come to little scripted parts and things, and I wonder what the script was, or thinking "hey, I could have done that too!"
  4. Sorry for both the delay, the thread slipped my mind a bit :/ and for the SS error, not sure what happened there, it has been fixed. Progress is good, I dont know why I even thought it would take longer than october, Im an Idiot.
  5. Calm down, he asked for help not hate. As mentioned speak to jauffree and then Captain Steffan as directed in the quest, the spies can then be found,if your at the right quest stage, at the stone at dusk. If you HAVE done this and they arent appearing due to a bug,you will need to do the console command methods stated earlier :)
  6. All I knew was that you could create them, but after a quick search of the CSWikki, i found otherwise: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index...r_Own_BSA_files About halfway down is a section for editing/updating them, and a decent method for their creation
  7. The cursed halls of Fort Achar have slumbered since the final years of the Second Era. Now its secrets begin to seep into the world once more as the Mages Guild dive into its corrupted depths, eager to discover the powers locked inside. But the Guild is not the only force interested in the forgotten mysteries Achar cloaks. The Cult of the Forlorn, lead by the shadowy altmer Varthras, has seized the ruins, their agents working to unleash the powers locked deep beneath the fort’s surface, they seek to resurrect the ancient secrets of the Hungerer RotH as I'm calling it for now is a story based mod, based in the new dungeon, Fort Achar. The player is hired to investigate the disappearance of a Mages Guild researcher and his battlemages sent to the Fort to investigate an absurd amount of magical energy detected in the area. The player will encounter the aforementioned Cult of the Forlorn, and is engaged in a plot to free the powerful daedric entity locked beneath its halls, discovering new monsters, weapons, armor and people. -- Now the "my mod is awesome" part is over, RotH is currently intended to feature a multi-pathed storyline, which will of course end in different endings and rewards for different paths. The mod will be largely based in the new dungeon, Fort Achar, which is currently planned to have 5 non-linear levels, the first of which, the Armory, is nearly finished, with just tweaks to the lighting and NPC's to be done, along with the first new monster, the Golem Constructs. I am currently hoping to finish the mod in October, due to school, coursework and other obligations taking up much of my time to mod. Those of you who click their way to my user and see the grand total of 0 mods released fear not about wasting your time tellng me not to aim too big for my boots, I have used the CS before, this is somewhat of a comeback to the game for me, after falling out with (and falling back in with) oblivion over the past year. Screenshots: Armory: Armory Entrance Armory Entrance 2 Entrance Redone Shrine Shrine 2 Forge Forge Entrance Monsters: Golem Dead (Mud atronach was the testing name given)
  8. Armand is a rather terrible source, on account fo having to buy them one by one, and only during the quest, as far as i can remember. Better is off the thieves guild fences, and Shady Sam if you dont desire to become a member of either. Mankar Camoran is supposedto be invincible at that point, its the entire point of the plot :P and your things are retrievable from the corpse of Harrow after you kill him.
  9. This probably sounds a little obvious, but have you tried after reloading save? It might be a random error, rather than a mod induced one, mods generally dont cause spells to go through things if not, an unfortunate option would be to console command .kill him, but that would kinda defeat the object of a boss fight :/ also, this would have been better in the spoiler forum :)
  10. they are? I thought the BoS were more technologically enchanced, what with beign the ones who worhsip technology and dedicate their lives to aquiring more advanced technology.
  11. Lyons chooses not to wear a helmet, possibly to keep morale up, because people will know who she is, and that she isnt dead, i suppose. And the reason Fawkes doesnt offer to go into the vault is because only you good guys can have Fawkes. Us evil sods can't, remember. And whats to say the Enclave don't go through little lamplight? They aren't scared of a few kids.
  12. They dont have animated deaths, deaths in Fallout use a ragdoll effect, so all you have to do is click off immortality.
  13. Ihateregistering, you get that from LFG Comic by any chance?
  14. The problem is creating a raven will need new anims, models and textures, becasue there currently sint one in game, which will take a LOT of time to make.
  15. Any continent that sinks will leave behind its mountain ranges, if they are high enough, which means that this is what the 'remains' of Yokuda are, the mountain peaks. It does seem strange though, that the Redguards were forced to migrate to Thamriel when Yokuda sunk, if there was a decent amount of land still left.
  16. Is there any chance we can have a hgiher res/zoomed in version, I cant read the text
  17. i had SoTD but deleted, because the ceremonial dager used at somepoint was dirty and overwrite the silver dagger. I also deleted Thievery in the Imp. City, because it seemed to conflict with soemthing, and when I reached the point where you try to steal back the runeskull, i was knocked out and then nothign happened, and the game froze. Havnt been able to find a link to COR. Can soemone post one? -- My favourite is probably everyones favourite, The Lost Spires, as well as the new Pirates (currently only demo, but the full mod is being finished soon), though having been the lead interior designer on the mod, I guess thats a little biased. Another bias is an upcoming mod by the same people as Pirates which is currently unnamed, and has had very little progress. (unnofficial advert - need playtesters and modders for Pirates. PM Me :P)
  18. I found it wierd how everyone can talk about the same piece of news/gossip for months wihout going off certain, seemingly rehearsed lines. Like this is all a play on some freakilly large stage.
  19. It depends on who i am playing. sometimes I want a nice bloody pit with dark, gothic decor and some slaves. Othertiems i may want a nice flowery house, with rich, posh ornaments and expensieve food and display cases for my trophies. The possibilities are endless
  20. because its ILLEGAL. To take a file, any file, from another game and then put it for free into another one without the consent of the owning companies is stealing, as it allows people who have not brought the first game to use its content without buying it.
  21. You can not legally take voices from the vanila content of other games and distribute them ,even after editing. You need to make them from scratch. Same with meshes and textures from older games.
