Jyotai
Since the last update to Vortexm it's started up everytime with a note that it cannot find my downloads folder. I manually show it where that folder is, but then on the next load... the same popup. I have the downloads on my 'D:' drive, and the mods on my 'C:' drive...- I'm on a laptop with a 250gb hard-drive so I try to push as many things as I can to an external drive... Vortex insists on a copy of the mods in the downloads, mods directory AND game... tripling disk size... I'd partially solved that in past by putting the downloads on D:... Could this be... - A need to reinstall Vortex?- A corrupted ini in Vortex from the update?- A new limit that the downloads have to be on the same drive?- Something I should look elsewhere for a solution to? Mods:C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Vortex\skyrimse\Mods - 38.1gb Downloads:D:\My Games\Vortex\skyrimse\downloads - 2.89gb Game:C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special EditionC:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data - 66.3gbVortex:C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex - 307mb
rmm200
One note: the size you show for Data is incorrect. The Data directory has hard links back to your mods directory, but they actually take no space. So 66.3GB - 38.1GB is actually used. More to the point, you have Downloads specified incorrectly. You tell Vortex what folder you want to use for downloads. In your case it would be D:\My Games\Vortex\downloads. In that Vortex will create a directory for each game, like skyrimse or fallout 4.
BigBizkit
Could you please send in your log? I am assuming your external drive is plugged in when you launch Vortex?
