rmm200
If you decide you actually want help, come back when your goal is not to rant. Most people having problems would start with a little video tutorial. There are some good ones.
AugustaCalidia
i stopped using nmm for vortex because it looked so simple but i have crashed 100x more on vortex and had 10x more problemes with vortex than nmm. there are no guides on how to setup your folders and i have already downloaded mods for 2 hours i dont want to do it again because of errors that dont say s*** and i googled it and there where posts about this error from march 2018. gj There are videos and tutorials integrated into Vortex that tell you how to set up your Vortex folders. There is a Knowledge Base accessed from the Vortex dashboard, and there are tutorial videos by Gopher accessed from the Vortex dashboard and from the mods tab taskbar. If you genuinely want help, then please provide more information using the guidelines found here: How to Request Vortex Support. On the other hand, if you just want to air your grievances, then the Vortex Discussion Forum is the place to go.
Guest deleted34304850
when you ask why is vortex so dumb, you should understand that all computers are, by and large, dumb. they do what we want exactly how we tell them to do it. they don't argue, they don't decide on a whim to do it differently, they do what they are told to do.if by doing that, you get a failure, the problem isnt with vortex or with your computer, its with you. you have given it incorrect instruction.in your rant, you make a lot of false claims. there are a myriad of videos out there that can help you, there is a built-in knowledge base for you and you have these support forums.if you'd put down your issues in a way that could garner assistance, you'd be away by now.if you really, genuinely want help, as is posted above, we're waiting.in the meantime you may want to delve into how computers work, and how humans can better interact with them to get desired results. this is you learning how the computer works and how the applications that run on it work. only you can do that, no-one here can help you with that.once you've done that and you have an appreciation of what it is you're trying to do, come back and you'll get a ton of help and get you going. or, don't. BigBizkit
Hi Andeeersson, Your post is, unfortunately, not telling us, but, judging by your download history, I am assuming that you are trying to mod Skyrim Special Edition. In that case, have you had a look at this article that should explain everything you need to know about modding SSE with Vortex yet? https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Modding_Skyrim_Special_Edition_with_Vortex Other than that, I am afraid if you want more specific help, we would require more specific information on what exactly was going wrong or what you had issues with. Please take a look at this post explaining how to ask for support: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7332636-how-to-post-request-support-for-vortex/
