Werewolf, cannot go back to human form

Hi folks,

I'm having a rather annoying problem.

For a certain quest (no spoilers) I have to kill someone. As this person is in town, I kind of need to hide my identity. My choice would be to turn into a werewolf. Kill said person and continue on my merry way.

 

HOWEVER. I cannot turn back into human form, I stay as a werewolf.

 

I've tried waiting it out, so I walk away from the computer for five minutes. But I still visually look like a werewolf.

I also tried waiting in-game, I still look like a werewolf.

 

I still get the visual image thing that says I am transforming back to human, the light in front of you thing.

 

After this happens, I can access my inventory etc etc. Just I still look like a werewolf.

 

I'm thinking this is just a visual glitch, but any help would be appreciated.

im having a similer problem, it will do the light thing, and all and im still a werewolf.

i have dawnguard so when i hit tab i go to perks but if i hit I ill be able to go to my inventory.

 

its really annoying tho i can 'kinda; fix it with 'player.setrace _____' (nord for me.) i even still look the same.

 

but when i do this and try again i have to use setrace again, it dosent happen just once. i know its my save, cuz i made a new character to test it, they turned back fine.

So just a tip, you may want to post your own thread if you are having a problem rather than resurrect an old one. Usually I look for threads with no replies because I assume threads with replies have been helped by someone else. Might be why you are not getting help from others, too.

 

If you know it's your savegame, you may just have to start a new game or go back to an older save. Alternately, have you tried curing the werewolf disease entirely?
