Skyrim script extender problems:

Hello, i have recnetly started modifying my skyrim games and was looking at some mods, however they require the script extender to work. i have downloaded the exstender, however, when i go to open the game through the loader, it annouces this.

 

'Could not find SkyrimVR.exe.'

 

I have no idea, what i am doing wrong and any help would be gladly appreciated. Thank you,

There are three versions of SKSE each for a different version of the game.

Classic Build 1.7.3 for original Skyrim

SE Build 2.0.15 for Skyrim Special Edition

VR Build 2.0.10 for Skyrim VR

 

You need to make sure that you are running the correct version of SKSE for the version of the game that you are playing. As near as I can tell you have Skyrim Special Edition yet are using the VR build of SKSE. You probably need to be using the SE build instead.
