Kraays
Hello. So, I restarted my PC's system files via the recovery settings in Windows 10. After restoring all of my programs I moved onto Vortex. When I opened it, there was no sign of my former settings and none of my mods nor plugins were detected. I tried assigning the 'Mod Staging Folder' to the path of my original one, but since it is not empty, Vortex won't allow it. Is there any way of recovering my previous folders, or will I need to install my mods anew? Would like to hopefully avoid that. I find it odd how there is no option of locating previous folders in case of a fresh install, unless I'm missing something... Will reverting back to MO or NMM do any good? AugustaCalidia
Give your "old" Mod Staging Folder a different name, e.g., "Mods Temp." Let Vortex create a new and empty folder for you, if it has not already done so. Double-check that the new path is correctly shown in Vortex Settings. Then copy and paste the contents of the "old" folder into the "new" folder.
