VforValence Posted September 2, 2012 Share Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) I noticed a lot of mods dedicated to enhancing or restoring towns in the game, and had an idea. What if there was a mod project to unify various restoration/town enhancement mods like Nipton Rebuilt, Operation Primm, the Bouldercity Facelift Project, New Vegus Restoration, Novac Redux ect, and some new touchups to various run down towns in such a way that the player was responsible for restoring towns section by section. So that after fulfilling major quest checks in various towns signifying the towns are pretty much clear, the player could upgrade the town. If lip syncing and all that were a problem, it could come in the way of an AI program after a stage in the main quest line, and decisions could be made through interacting with it and terminal interactions. It could even have Text to Speech as Glados, that way it would be a bit like upgrading the Lucky 38 Suite. The implication being that, for the parts that don't already upgrade automatically, you send drones to do the work. The worker robots could even be places around town for added effect :D Just an idea, if anyone is interested.
