MrWezz23
i have a super fast beast of a computer and my game from that point runs at 10-5 fps per second
seanschilling
I've found a solution, open console and type coc whiterun to leave the camp area. Even though you'll be acused of running away from the fight the quest will be completed and you can continue as if you syated.
Totoasticot
I did what you say for the papyrus tweaks, all gone. Problem still there =(
in54n3x3
I ran into this issue with a vanilla skyrim. I managed to fix this by simply opening the ingame console typing "tscr" ( without quotes ) then get back to the game, stuff should be running like a charm. Just open the console again and type "tscr" again to restore the script execution - the lag should still be gone. You might have to do this multiple times though. 536861646f57
Hello, I have seemed to bypass the problem. Go to a save from before the lag part. Make sure "get your orders from Galmar" is in your journal. Once you get near the laggy part but it isn't lagging yet, type in "player.coc WhiterunDragonsreach", without quotes. Leave Dragonsreach and then leave Whiterun altogether. The entry "Get you orders from Galmar" should complete as soon as you near the bridge. Go up to the stairs/walkway on the right, and lower the drawbridge, then head back into Whiterun. Book it to the palace, ypu can knock down the wooden spiked barriers by bashing them with a shield. Once in the palace, force Balgruff to surrender by killing Irileth (she will go on her knees) and do the same to Balgruff. He'll surrender, and then start arguing with Vignar. Afterwards, Ralof will tell you "I'm pretty sure I killed more than you. I was counting". After you hear this line it's safe to go back outside to the plains.Good luck! mike2977
Changing fExtraTaskBudgeMS = 1.2 did it for me. Old thread, but I'm back to playing Skyrim again, so I figured I'd join the Stormcloakes and fight the Civil War. Also allowed me to fight the major battle in Solitude.
