msl1006 Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 Basically I'm imagining a player home that would look like the mansions from FO3:Point Lookout; or like Camp Golf without NCR Rangers or bunk beds. This would be a unique player home that would be lore-friendly and would give the player plenty of space to display all of the armor and weapons they've acquired while playing. Just think: a large mansion filled with mannequins wearing unique and mod armors and weapon racks holding myriad weapons. As well as all of the great modern amenities found in other mod player homes. I'm not much of a modder, but this might not be too hard. Maybe just copying the main Jacobstown building (minus supermutants) or Camp Golf (minus NCR and bunk beds) and placing them elsewhere. Just a thought. The home could be placed in the Deathclaw Promontory, or in Blue Paradise Vacation Rentals, neither of which are altered by any mods as far as I know. I'd also like to suggest a backstory and quest for the player home. The home was famous resort/mansion that was abandoned because deathclaws/mirelurks/lakelurks took over. Once the player finds the home, the player starts a quest to kill off all of the creatures inside of the home. Once they do that, they can turn on robotic servants that will clear up the mess and serve the player in the future. The mission backstory could be delivered completely by computer terminals to remove the need for voice acting/lip syncing/mute npcsMaybe the previous owner was a mad scientist (Rusty Venture type?) with a drug addiction succumbing to some neurotoxin, sort of accumulating spelling and grammatical errors as log entries progress which would help explain away translation errors and any typos Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
