ghosu
Yeah, i will add one when i import the adjusted model for the 1st person. UPDATE: Well it's quite hard to get a working 1stperson view (3rd persion version looks terrible in 1st person, thin, barrel covers 2third ot the screen, covers crosshair and flows above the hand) , so i wanted to create an own model for each view. But i guess this will do as well, far away from perfection but without the ability to alter the animation i have to make a compromise. Not final of course (especially the textures) and the line of fire goes straight bottom-up (i will move it up to the entrance of the barrel) but i see no way to fix that, the animation is still from the crossbow - and a crossbow is much shorter and had a different position. http://666kb.com/i/c722ql5tqvphdmy1q.jpg 3rd person feels awesome, 1st person at least ok - it's like many other mods, hard to make the real deal if you don't have the tools or knowledge :D Edited September 7, 2012 by ghosu
tgpomy
This is epic. Seriously, great idea. Would love to see this completed. Nice work. P.S. Bayonet would be awesome, for when you are up close and hit them with the rifle. Edited September 8, 2012 by tgpomy

darkofan
idk if you said this or not but, will the mod be a replacer or standalone? (I would prefer replacer, just sayin) can't wait for this to be done!
Tzontlimixtli
Oh, any thoughts on a bayonet? If it's using the crossbow functions as well as the animation then I imagine it's possible to bash with it. Adding a bayonet would be pretty simple in this case. tgpomy
This mod and your WIP Weapon pack seem to be some of the coolest mods I've seen in a while. New Hammers, maces, and muskets.....WOW!
ghosu
Thx Well, it will be a standalone since 99% of people prefer that but you can simply rename my files to the crossbow names if you want to use it as replacer.Bayonet will be no problem but i guess i will include it in the 2nd release when i overhaul the first person view. Will release an alpha version soon, the 3rd person version already works pretty fine...just want to check out if there is a demand before i keep on working on the first person. Atm you can use it as well but it lacks animations and better textures - though i will only improve that if there is a demand because i guess animation could be very tricky. And i think i should add a little tutorial to change the dmg/speed as well...i like the actual reload time (though it is quite fast with reload perk) but if someone prefers more authentic speed (like 3 shots/min) they can change that themselves. greetings
