Thx

I'm planning to upload an alpha release in a few hours.

Dawnguard required (don't know if it would work to extract all uses files from the archive so you can use it whithout DG...guess it would- will check that out for the next release - if there is demand)

greetings

greetings on your alpha release :) i'm downloading right now!

and compliments on your amazing skills, very good models and textures! :D

PS

can i ask you a question? how do you make a static object for the inventory? i'm struggling with it for my upcoming mod (nothing special just a backpack) : http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/134282

thx

Most CK forms have an entry for the world / ground model...needs to be linked to the nif file. At least this is the case when it comes to weapons and armor, and when you created this item on the base of a new armor slot it should be quite the same. Haven't modded such things for 5 months so my memory is fading ;)

This is awesome. Really excited to download it once I get home. I have a feeling you will get a lot of attention/support for this mod.

P.S. - On page 1 there are two different concepts of rifles. Are they both in the Alpha release? or only the one?

Thx

"Well, it will be a standalone since 99% of people prefer that but you can simply rename my files to the crossbow names if you want to use it as replacer."

so I use the ck to change the editor ID of the musket or the croosbow or do I chage something else entirely? btw my favorite mod

I have to think 'bout that later dude, my brain is totally filled with animation stuff atm :D

Making small progress, i finally managed to alter the original animation - this is just a test animation, have to adjust the whole thing and learn more 'bout it:

Atm i'm forced to use the original crossbow skeleton, in fact the 3d model of the musket is attached to it:

So you can imagine that it is pretty hard to attach my moving parts to this animation template, stuff moves out of position, wrong angles and whatever.

So it would be perfect if you somehow can import your own new skeleton, but i guess this is quite impossible for me - just started yesterday but maaaaybe there is someone around with this knowledge. I've seen a russian guy who managed to import a whole new skeleton for characters but his whole blog is in russian language...

Something "simple" like that would be awesome:

greetings
