Nightskia
Hi all a bit of help please. At random times my game will freeze and I'll have to ctrl + alt + del and restart. Checking papyrous each time after a crash it says that it was trying to update. I've turned off my Steam so not to let the game update or search for an update but it keeps on trying to update... anything that can be done to stop the game from updating? Thank you for your time reading

Thank you for your time reading Go in to Steam and tell it to play Offline. That will stop the automatic updates. Rabbit

Thank you for your time reading If you wanted to stop any updates from occurring then you needed to stay in offline mode on Stream. Apparently you went into online mode for some reason. Once the update started you should of let it continue. Most likely you have corrupted your tesv.exe file. I would let Skyrim update to the latest patch if I were you. Then check the integrity of your game cache via stream. Most likely that will fix your problem. The latest patch has not given me any problems at all and I have been running it for some time now.
