It is obvious that you don't play on a console. If you did (I play on xbox and pc), you would have to find something else to complain about. Consoles are not perfect, but they do limit the amount of mayhem caused by third party mods. I haven't had a crash in about three months on xbox. I don't play dawnguard because it doesn't interest me for the PC or the XBOX. I did download hearthfire for the xbox. Right now I'm assembling parts for my new, high speed, low drag, monster computer. I'm 59 and have been in computing since the dark ages. I have bought the last case, last power supply(s), last motherboard, last storage module, etc., Iwill ever need, too many times to count. I finally grew up and realized it was a lifelong problem. As for all the people bashing console players on this forum, what is your problem? Grow up. Last for all those people who say the PC version of Skyrim comes on one DVD because of consoles, go back to school and study rhetoric and logic. Where is the connection? It comes on one DVD because marketing *censored*s and accountants are risk averse. I almost said they are morons, but I came to my senses in the last second. Was Skyrim unfinished when released? Absolutely. Is it still unfinished? In many ways, I must say yes. But, this just in. The perceived inability to upgrade your followers is not a bug. It is a feature, just like the burned spots on your hamburger at burger king. There were many other decisions made concerning followers, spouses, etc., which were made deliberately, that players find annoying. But they are not bugs. They may have been poor decisions or just lazy design, but they were implemented correctly. In closing, console players and console versions of the game are not your problem. Your problems are different. Examine your expectations.
