Darksider1013
That still doesn't explain how ctrl+alt+del fixes it so easily. It's not like it refreshes the card's vram cache or something. Ctrl-alt-delete (or Alt-tab or whatever) just forces the game out of d3d. Which then forces it to rebuild buffers (possibly) and thus present a more compact and/or efficient accumulation of data. This my best guess on how they use memory. Fragmentation in this game isn't as bad as others, but when they hit boundaries, I've noticed that they don't always handle it correct (as evidenced by corrupted meshes and textures you see on the console system sometimes). Alright, that makes more sense. Regardless, I'm still getting my second graphics card in October so it shouldn't be a problem by then. Also, would running a GTS450 and GTX460 effect my system negatively or positively?
gsmanners
I would say as long as your power supply can handle it, you should be okay.
