UgTheViking
Hey there- I just reinstalled SSE. (Version 1.5.8) and am getting very low FPS (About 10-12) with a new game and settings on low. My system is:AMD fx - 4100 quad coreNvidia GEforce GT 5208 GBWindows 10 The only mods I am running are FNIS and SkyUI. I have the latest SKSE installed as well SSE Fixes and SSE Engine Fixes (Skse plugin) Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Schwerwan
CPU and GPU is too weak. Try searching how to boost FPS. There are many solutions.
UgTheViking
Thank you for the reply. Ok, so I have added Optimized Textures, BethINI and ShadowBoost. Might have gained 1 FPS. Out of curiousity I used the console command 'tg' to get rid of grass. That didn't do much either. Any other suggestions?....or should I just go back to Oldrim...I at least had a steady 30-40 Fps there.
c0ax599
All I can add is you just need a better vid card. I got Win10 and a AMD Phenom II x6 1100T Black (so your CPU is newer than mine, but 2 less cores), 16GB DDR3 Ram, and a GTX 1050 ti with 4gb DDR5. I'm getting 60FPS with a few dips into the 50's occasionally. Before this on this same machine, I ran two GTX 550 ti's SLI. Frames were chit! Like 30-40 max, dipping into the 20's. This EVGA GTX 1050 ti made all the difference. GT 520? No.. lol. Sorry, i would upg the vid card to at least a 1050 ti. Got mine in 2017 from Newegg, for approx $150, and it woke this old PC up! And I hate to add, I don't think you gonna find enough tweaks to make up for that. ;) Edited July 8, 2019 by c0ax599
