lmlmike
Hello everyone ! I'm kinda new to the Skyrim community. Last year I had a very exciting experience playing Fallout 3 with complete and interesting mods and I want to do the same with Skyrim now. I finished the game with a level 67 character, but I didn't play it because it was pretty much the same thing over and over again. I just wanted to know if you could advice me a great combination of mods in order to enjoy a lot playing it again. I used to play it at "very difficult", and I don't care about any visual effect added by mods, only gameplay, content and cool features would fit my needs :D Thank you all, and I hope to see you around :-)
sinnerman69
I'd download and install SkyUI for sure 17,976 endorsements and counting As for other mods I'm not sure what your into, there's a Immersion download category and vanity mods [Let's play dress up] Environmental mods, mods that allow cheating, weapon mods Edited September 7, 2012 by sinnerman69

To resume, I'm for everything who improves the way I play Skyrim in general, without ruining the game :-)
gsmanners
It probably goes without saying that you will need USKP.
sinnerman69
The original in game menu without skyui was designed for gaming consoles and didn't fit while with PC users There's favourite menu organizer mods for skyui from other modders, but I couldn't get those add on favourite menus to work with skyui community uncapper while allow leveling past 81 and as high as level 845 my favourite modded player made home is the levelers tower mod, it has a awesome display museum and mannequins gallore to display your armor as well as plaques for your blades, swords and other weapons and lots of cheat enhancements, the levelers tower has around 1800 endorsements and has a conjuration version of Shadowmere with blue glowing eyes Edited September 7, 2012 by sinnerman69
jazzak25
I'm with you, i played through once and am waiting til end of year to play it again fully modded and hopefully bug free. Some of the mods i've come to have as a must include: Interesting Npcs - Adds fully voiced Npcs around Skyrim that add to the games stroyline. I used the CK to get rid of a few i didn't like or thought were too much, but the voices are clean and well done, very underrated mod. Convenient Horses - Complete overhaul of the horses, basically covers all aspects of them plus it is updated frequently so it is most likely bug free and compatible with most other mods. U.F.O - I myself like to go solo, but i like the idea of having many travellers behind me, it makes it easier than choosing one and better customisation and control is a good feature also. Personalized Music - Along with the original soundtrack it is awesome to play scores of music in places you want, be it battle or exploration, from movies like Gladiator or LotR, makes travelling around more enjoyable as i listen to these music pieces i would probably never really listen to otherwise. Reallike ENB - I wasn't big on ENBs but this is gorgeous and not dstracting at all, makes the new experience more exciting. There's many other little mods, most of them fixes and cosmetic and HD textures but the above are the big ones that i look forward to, give em a try
Staind716
Deadly Dragons is a must have for me. It not only adds new dragons to the game but actually makes them more difficult to kill. There is also a lore friendly version that only increases the difficulty of the vanilla dragons. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3829 Skyrim Monster Mod is also great for adding new creatures to the game. Also a lore friendly version for this one too. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9694

I'm a bit disappointed already by the armors, cause i just found a 50+ defense complete unique suit on the first person I killed...The armor is beautiful though... http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2012/36/1347112809-sans-titre.jpg Feel free to advice me some other mods as well. I think I'm gonna add the monster mod, but maybe a bit later, when I'll carry something a bit more powerful ^_^ EDIT : SkyUI is AWESOME !!! Cthuloot
Personally, a lighting mod that makes dungeons darker is now on my must have list. Along with a lore friendly armors mod by hothtrooper, Jaysus swords, MoM (Masters of Magicka, really neat spell re balance as well as a few new lore friendly and helpful spells). Also the art of black smithing, which lets you craft a few over looked things. Wearable lanterns and Laterns of Skyrim are both nice additions. Deadly Dragons and PISE are also supposedly really great. Then of course SkyUI and Categorized Favoirties meanu (The latter is a bit... unstable at the moment. Takes a lot of tweaking, could end up being more trouble than it's worth to you) Also the better quality world map. I sually don't look for quest mods and such, just re-balances, new spells (I want Midas so much, but hate the brand name on every spells, also not sure how well it'd jive up with my other magic mod), new armors and weapons. I've been looking for a nice lore friendly mod that adds more baddies, but even the 'lore-friendly' Skyrim Monster Mod version has some not so lore friendly stuff running around in it. =/
Staind716
Hmm, never really had any trouble with Deadly Dragons myself. Did you run BOSS for your load order? That makes a BIG difference.
