antstubell
Followed tutorial on Wiki and made a disease, placed on skeever and it works. But I want to contract it from a fox. Same steps as previously followed, set chance of contracting it to 90%, spent 5 mins in game being attacked by my Aggressive, Foolhardy Fox and... nothing. Why is this? RichWebster
(Guessing) It might be a faction or keyword thing. Foxes are passive creatures in the game, skeevers aren't.
antstubell
A valid guess but nope. Fox belongs to no faction(s).
antstubell
Update: Can't catch it from a wolf either, only skeever.
IsharaMeradin
Maybe it isn't a disease that affects canines and thus they cannot transmit it? Have you tried getting the disease from multiple different instances of the fox?I ask because I have no way of knowing if the 90% means 9 out of 10 foxes can infect you or if it means 9 out of 10 attacks from any fox could infect you. Also keep in mind that your own immunity percentage plays a factor in whether or not you can get infected. Try setting at 100% and seeing what happens then. antstubell
Just had a Fox Fest, 10 foxes at 100% contract disease from them and nothing but bite marks. What is strange is in the Fox race 6 of the 12 attacks in Attack Data say you can contract Ataxia from a fox. But seeing as Foxes are all set to neutral or cowardly in the base game, a fight with a fox would never occur i.e. foxes don't fight/bite back. Maybe just one of those 'Bethesda' things.
