Skeldal
Hi everyone. I have Skyrim Legendary Edition and a lot of mods installed (190 now) on Vortex. Everything seems to be working fine: no crashes, no slowdowns or lag spikes. But when I try to save it takes almost 30 secs to be done. Without mods, it only takes a very few seconds. There's anyway to know which mod (or some) is causing this? Edited July 3, 2019 by Skeldal
Skeldal
Anyone experienced this? Until now, I can't find anything what can help to solve this.
PeterMartyr
Some Mods are poorly scripted, if your game is stabled, my advice is deal with it, the same happen to me with load order of 300+ mods(some merged) It took FOREVER to load a StartUp. & I felt like making a coffee when I had to Save. I played that Game for over a year... with no problems except ridiculous loading times & save times.... If that your biggest problem? Wow your lucky. PS I did make coffee when I started the game up, it really took a while to load the 50 + Gig I had in data folder (don't ask).
Skeldal
I had some problems with crashes and others common errors, but now, after a long time trying to solve these previous errors, everything is okay except for the save time... And how I said, with the game without mods, and with only a few of them, is working fine, so I only want find some way to detect which mod is causing this, for maybe disable or go to another similar. How I said, I wasted a long time to prevent the game crash and avoid all errors I had before. My game is not perfect yet only for the save time :(
Skeldal
I think I found a solution. In my game, I had installed Cloaks of Skyrim and a modification of it with HDT. For some reason, LOOT was giving me a warning to disable one Cloak (because there was two enabled), but I can't disable the version without HDT because some mods (like OBIS) need that to work. In the end, I disabled the HDT version and I'm only using the normal version now. It's not only stopped the imense save time I had but too make my FPS increase a little. So I think it was all only because this conflict. Hope this help anyone with this problem in future.
