PLEASE HELP!

i recently got the ENB series patch 0.090 #3 and it causes flickering but i need that because of not loading any saves without it and random crashes and freezes in certain areas. (fml)

 

please help.

I am not sure what you are even asking. I read this and your other post and am really confused as to what you did. You say you loaded an ENB patch. You need an ENB for that patch to work. Also. If you did load an ENB, most of them require some sort of editing that you must do to an "ini" file or files.

 

Reword what you are trying to ask and don't make multiple thread requests for the same problem. people will just overlook your needs. There's a lot of knowledgeable and helpful people here. You just have to be clear (polite also helps) about your request. :thumbsup:

ok so i did some reasearch on why my skyirm was freezing every like 5 minutes and someone said that it was because skyrim wasnt loading something in the next area and said to download TES skyrim 0.090 patch #3 (i think) and it was part of the ENBseries stuff which was supposed to fix why skyrim wasnt loading some things. and it didnt from what i see and it caused this very annoying flickering but from what i see if i fast travel to anywhere that wont crash skyrim, it fixes the flickering.

 

 

and the other thing i was asking was that while i was researching, the people that had my problem said that they had it with their MAIN CHARACTER. and i was wondering if someone could tell me if i could restart and not have any problems related to skyrim not loading things and crashing or freezing because of it.

the reason theres a lot more is because i tried playing skyrim again and found out that the freezing i was having still does even after the patch that was supposed to fix it

Try again - keep it simple and please explain

1, What your problem is

2. What you have already done to try to fix it

3. Exactly what patch and for what mod you are talking about. TES skyrim 0.090 patch #3 means nothing to me.

 

4. Flickering is often caused by a video card setting not agreeing with a Skyrim.ini setting.

 

Please do not assume we already know what you are talking about. Explain it so we actually do - proofread, then proofread again to be sure your post is clear. :thumbsup:

ok, so.

 

i was playing skyrim and had so much fun with it and then i kept getting freezes when i tried to load a save game. so i tried to load the one before it and it loaded successfully.

but then i played for like an hour and ran into a problem. i was getting freezes when i walked into an area. so i avoided it and played for more. then i got it again but in a different area.

 

i was concerned so i researched and found something about The elder scrolls V: skyrim - ENBseries 0.090 patch #3

(which is supposed to fix the freezes that weere probably cause by skyrim not loading things it needs to). and then i thought it worked but there was a flickering that was pretty game ruining. so i fast traveled and it mostly went away. (only noticeable if you look very hard). and then i played for like 10 minutes and then got another freeze going into another area.

 

i got sick of trying to fix it. (about 5 hours) so i stopped and wrote this forum with a headache. and the ENBseries i think its an enb but its supposed to fix some things that causes freezes or missing textures. i didnt get it from the nexus here is the link : http://www.atomicgamer.com/files/94516/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-enbseries-0-090-patch-3

 

and my question was for anybody that had this problem was , if i could start a new character and not have the some problems. because most of the things i read from people who had this problem useually said something about it in the main character. i'd be pretty dissapointed is i had to restart but not too much. (level 20 with 6 followers)

Lets see, first, i gotta say that i dont have any solution, but i'll try to minimize the context of the problem here.

 

1. The game freeze when you load the specific save? Any info on where the save is? In the outside wilderness, in a room, or some place maybe?

2. The game freeze when you walk some place outdoor if i got it correct? Any info on what area (example : around whiterun, north from solitude, etc) will help :)

3. Do you have installed ( or maybe then uninstalled ) some mod before the ENB?

4. Any indication on how can the game freeze? happen randomly? walking on water? after a specific amount of time?

 

Just checking, but maybe updating the graphic card driver will help.

Also, what is your game version?

Sidenote : IMO, level 20 is not really that long in the game^^

Oh, and my office friend says that ENB patch/mod/idk is not 100% guarantee for random freezing problem. Well, he is not always dependable though.

Normally if the game is trying to load something that is not in your game, it CTDs (Crash to desktop ) instead of freeze.
