ILiveOnAsAPillow
I’m going to try to make this as quick and simple as possible. Basically, I’ve been having some strange save-game bloat happening. First off, these are the mods I had installed when I noticed the issue (random freezes happening every minute or so for about 3 seconds, gradually getting worse):Animated Prostitution - Skyrim - Animated prostitutionBadMedicine v1.1 C4bBetter Females by BellaBetter Malesbr_assassins_creed_packCalientes Female Body -CBBE-CBBEv3M body replacerCHSBHC - BBPcloaks of SkyrimEnhanced Blood TexturesFeminine Running and new dash animationfollowers can relaxfores new idles in Skyrim - FNIS Behavior FilesFores new idles in Skyrim - FNIS Idle SpellsImmersive ArmorsJeans for CBBEv3 - Julia SetsKillerKeos Skimpy CBBEv3 Armor SetNewmiller Casual bikini v2_22 for CHSBHCNightingale CrossbowPopulated CitiesPush-up sexy bikinis CBBEv3Realistic Lighting with customizationRiverside Lodge with Sauna (Hoarder version)Static Mesh improvement modTriss amor retexturedUFO - Ultimate follower overhaulKillable Children~~~STEAM WORKSHOP SUBSCRIBED MODS~~~Throwing Weapons - Death from afarImproved Followers~~~Also have Dawnguard~~~ With these very mods installed, I went from the normal 11.MB save file to 16MB, 18MB, 30MB, 44MB (getting to 112MB eventually) with every real save. In between these saves was simple wandering, hunting, or bandit slaying. I noticed this very bad save bloat after installing Riverside Lodge with Sauna Hoarder Edition. Of course, hoping to fix this, I deactivated this mod, and ALL other mods. After loading a vanilla Skyrim, and running around (hunting, wandering, etc.), the bloating continued, not worse or better than before. Disappointed, I checked my main Data file, seeing that it was 14GB, I uninstalled Skyrim completely and reinstalled (Nexus just deactivates a mod, and not uninstalls it from Data) with Steam. Loading Skyrim again after that, without installing mods yet, the bloating continued. Then, I installed all the above mods again, and the bloating didn’t change from before. Now of course I could simply start over, but knowing I have 200+ hours, a finished “No Stone Unturned’ quest, and a level 55 Redguard babe, that’s not really an option. Starting over would be my last resort, and I mean very, very last. Any feedback appreciated.

fms1
AFAIK there's no way to fix an already corrupted save file, there are a few mods that may prevent bloat like the Unofficial patch and Possessive Corpses, Idk if it would be redundant in using both or not, here's links. Unofficial Skyrim PatchPossessive Corpses no more lazy zombies and shy nirnroots
jazzak25
I'll give you a list of the mods it is not, there should be no issue. The issue comes however from updating mods to newer versions most of the time as in some cases scripts change or disappear among other things and causes quite a few issues. I'm on a clean save however, waiting a few months for another playthrough until all the mods are compatible. Apart from that there are tricks you could try that i saw somewhere else in this forum from memory, I know there was an issue with quicksaving in general which was causing problems and to try and avoid it, but know texture mods are not really to blame, more esp files. ESPs i have that aren't victims of save bloat, (though on a clean save) are:- AP- Enhanced Blood Textures- FNIS- SMIM- U.F.O Also, Immersive armors is good but did lag my above average rig quite a bit so i had to deactivate it, didn't play it long enough to see if it save bloated, but i doubt it.
