When I clicked export and all that it said Armature cannot export. So I closed blender and went back in loaded the model and immediately went to importing it and well that was 10 minutes ago. And it looked like it did it, but then I checked and its not there!

I also can't get it show it's textures in blender. It kinda worked except no textures are shown. I decided to try 3ds Max but no luck, as I'm not disabling Windows Defender

What type of object is this that is has an armature? The animations in FNV generally assume that they will be using one of the existing FNV armatures and its corresponding animations. Depending on what you are doing, you might need to re-rig the object for FNV. If it's a static(ish) object with an animation, I have never tried to import anything like that so I can't be of much help there.

I have seen some issues with certain obj files with Blender 2.49b. Sometimes you can import the obj in Blender 2.79 and export it as an obj, then import that exported obj into 2.49b.

Note that nifs need to be UV texture mapped. If the object has materials instead of UV textures, that won't work.

Yes. It's from either Sketchfab or Turbo Squid. I searched for Mountain Dew. If you search for Mountain Dew on Turbo Squid there is a free one. This link will take you to a mountain dew 3D model in sketchfab the one that I believe I was trying to import into blender and then export as a nif. https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/soda-can-c63a465fc3fc4b5dac6bf385bd954c2c

This link is a 3D model of Mountain Dew from Turbo Squid which to be honest the models there are extremely high quality but nothing there that you want to get is ever rarely free. Or cheap. https://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/1121637

Also if your using WinRAR Extractor. For sketchfab when it says it's extracted it, go into the source folder or whatever the folder that has the model is called and you'll have to extract it. IDK why there is a zip inside a zip, but that's how it is.

I've had better luck with sketchfab than turbosquid for finding models, but I'll usually search both when I'm looking for something. The good stuff usually isn't free, and even if you find something you like, it often is too complex to be used in Fallout. Blendswap is another good resource.

I tried the sketchfab version since it had a lower polygon count. I was able to import it into Blender 2.49b easy enough. It used a material texture instead of a UV map, so I deleted the material and added in the texture as a UV. That worked well enough for Blender, but when I tried to export it to a nif, the nif tools barfed on it.

You really need something with a much smaller polygon count if you want to use it in New Vegas.

you are just full of creation aren't you? Like you helped me make the spaghetti O's mod and know you've already went and made another mod! For me! just wowsers! I mean your a miracle worker! There is this other one that I thought of doing was replacing the doctor's bag with a military med kit, since the entire look and name of it just annoyed me. https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/first-aid-kit-c80fda9c205c405695ea1e8cc0226dcc I'm going to try and do that on my own. The only thing I'll need help with is making it replace! And getting it to show it's textures yadda yadda. But I think I'll figure that on my own playing with the geck for a bit. I'm also going to try and get the spaghetti O's mod to be sold by vendors in New California. Or whatever, which I don't know how to do. Also the soda thing I was trying to get Mountain Dew into the game to drink

ALSO sorry for the delayed response my router just had a seizure and then went brain dead. So had someone fix it.
