samv96UK
Information Hello Voice Actors and Actresses! I am currently working on a city mod called Rochebere and I am on the hunt for voice actors. I have currently planned out/written half of the lines that I will need for the mod, so there will be more coming soon! Some characters have larger role than others, so feel free to choose one that has a workload to your preference. If you would like to be a part of this project, simply follow the instructions below. Send all lines you record to my email, [email protected] Instructions Every part you audition for must be accompanied by the general lines. They must be recorded no matter which NPC you choose to record for. Each NPC has a 'class' next to his or her name. There are extra lines for 'class' at the bottom of this page. You must record 'class' lines which correspond to your NPC's lines! For Example: (Male) Seflian, Middle Class: Means that if you apply for the role of Selfian, you must also record the 'Middle Class' lines in his voice. Lines If you need any clarification on anything below, just let me know. General lines (These must be recorded for every part you apply for!) Yes?How can I help you? What do you need? Can I help you? Hmm?Make it quick?!Speak quickly. Out with it.What?Goodbye.Bye.See you.Until next time.Good day.Leave me alone.Yeah, go away.Stay away from me.Hmph.*Combat Shouts*I'll have your head!No more!Stop! You won't leave here alive!*Death sounds* Many people disagree with me, but I like this city. Rochebere has everything you could need and more. You new around town? Haven't seen you before. It's you! The one who got rid of the bandit toll! What a pleasure to see you!Another attack... The Huntress must be desperate if she had an a killing planned in daylight. The Jarl has been taken! Please, you must save him.You stopped the Huntress. I don't know how I can thank you. We owe our lives to you.You saved us all! Thank you so much! This city will prosper now the Huntress has been stopped. You betrayed the Jarl, his son, and this city. Why did you side with the Huntress?Look at this place. Rochebere has become a shadow of it's former self. Characters (Male) Seflian, Middle Class: Hey, you! I need to talk to you. I come from a distant place in search of your help. I must ask you something before I go on. Do you know of the city of Rochebere? I presumed as much. Most people in Tamriel have never even heard of it. It's not recognised as a city, since it isn't located inside a province. Instead it lies in the uncharted lands between the borders of Skyrim, Cyrodiil and Hammerfell. The city itself is rather young. Too young to be noted in any popular history books. It was formed a mere 200 years ago, during the Oblivion crisis, before which, it was just a farming establishment. A noble family fled from Cyrodiil during the chaos, hoping to find more peace in the North. They came across Rochebere. It was nothing more than a small settlement at the time. Nothing people would have taken notice of in the past. The family were welcomed there by the kind folk who lived in the settlement. When they heard that the Oblivion gates had been closed and Tamriel was saved, they erected a tower, in honour of those who had died in the fight. They called it 'Eagle Tower'. As the years passed, people came across the settlement, and helped to expand it. Over time, the city grew larger, and so did Eagle Tower. The people suggested it became the residence of the family from Cyrodiil, and the father was crowned Yarl of this newborn city. The original Yarl's descendants have ruled ever since. Now, Rochebere rivals the size of most of the cities in Skyrim. The city is threatened. The Yarl is in need of a hero, and he has chosen you. I don't think it's my place to tell you. It's best that you speak to the Jarl in person. Take this letter. The Yarl wanted me to give it to you.The city gates are located to the South-West of Falkreath. I can take you there now, if you like? Very well. Climb in the back of the carriage. Suit yourself. I'll be waiting here if you decide you want a lift. (Male) Gadave, Middle Class: Voice type: Kind, Calm, Relaxed My family have lived in Rochebere for centuries. You won't see any other Dark elves here except, my wife, Madali, but she usually stays at home. A fellow Dark elf? You must be new. There aren't any others in this city. My wife and I have considered moving to Windhelm, there's said to be lots like us there. (Female) Madali, Middle Class: Voice type: Soft, Soothing, Calm My husband Gadave's family have lived here for centuries. Gadave and I are the only Dark elves in Rochebere. A fellow Dark elf? What a pleasure seeing you, my friend. (Female) Sabrinda, Noble: Voice Type: Well Spoken, Calm, Aristocratic Have you met my husband, Pilpen? Step aside, you're making the place look untidy. New here? Well, don't get too used to talking to me, I don't mix with folk like you. Do I look like I need to work? My husband Pilpen and I are one of the richest couples in Rochebere. (Male) Hickim, Middle Class: Voice Type: Strong, Hardy, Warming I forge the finest steel for all of Rochebere in this very shop. Speak to my wife Suleem if you want to purchase anything. It's hard working as a blacksmith, but I enjoy it. You speak the truth, friend. Hammerfell is place full of gifted swordsmen and warriors alike, but I have found my home here. I've always been a keen blacksmith. My father crafted the finest weapons for Redguards back home. I left my family and my homeland during my youth, hoping to take what my father had taught me and become a prosperous blacksmith in a far away place. Now, here in Rochebere, I have finally found my home. So long as you don't set anything on fire, it's fine. (Female) Suleem, Middle Class: Voice Type: Kind, Warming, Welcoming My husband Hickim forges everything I have for sale. I'm no expert when it comes to smithing, but I have a keen talent in the ways of speech. Feel free to use Hickim's forge, if you need it. Take a look. Good doing business with you. Being a merchant is a profitable job here in Rochebere. The finest steel in all of Rochebere. Blades, helmets, pretty much anything to suit your needs. (Male) Marcus, Middle Class: Voice Type: Young, Eager, Adventurous Nothing, Unfortunately. I just help with making the potions. If you need to buy any cures or remedies, speak with Relianne inside. I work for Relianne, the doctor at the building opposite the vegetable market. Working for Relianne is interesting enough, but one day I'm hoping to become an adventurer.I craft the potions that Relianne uses to make people better, you can speak to her inside if you want to buy anything. I've had a lot to do lately. Relianne's dealing with the bodies from the murders, which means I need to make all of the shops's potions. (Male) Malpen, Middle Class: Voice Type: Welcoming, Friendly, Warm You new round here? I'm Malpen, I sell the fruit and vegetables here I'm the city. Food for the whole family. Fruit and vegetables of the highest standard. Fresh meat and vegetables... Why don't you take a look. It's convenient that my sister lives in the countryside. It's where I get all my stock. (Male) Anthas, Middle Class: Voice Type: Enthusiastic, Exited, Happy It's you! The new citizen who purchased a property! How wonderful to meet you! I'm Anthas, owner of Anthas' noble decor. And as It so happens, your new home is in desperate need of some decor. Here, take this complimentary home improvement book, it will detail you on improvements you can purchase for your home. Come back and speak to me when you are ready to start the renovations. Of course. You will find your new decorations arranged when you next enter your house. I apologize, but I don't think you have enough gold to improve that room yet. (Female) Relianne, Middle Class: Voice Type: Mysterious, Thoughtful, Slow Take a look. Medicines for many diseases, and more. The best selection of healing goods in all of Rochebere. Correct. I can definitely say that the job is keeping me occupied. These killings... they're like nothing I've encountered before... There's such precision. You can tell that the Huntress' victims fell to her hunt as soon as her blade touched their bodies. Slashes and cuts in vital areas of the bodies show that she is no haphazard murderer. She's an expert in the art of death. Be wary on your journey against her, friend. The Huntress is a dangerous foe not to be underestimated. (Male) Breton, Beggar: Voice Type: Insane, Creepy, Sly *laughs* Veric is suprised the guards never took down his request. Guards don't like poor Veric. Just because poor Veric has nowhere to go. Guards don't listen to Veric when he needs help. Veric had to put up notice. Yes.. Yes! Veric does need help! Guards don't listen to Veric when he needs help. Veric needs help from someone else. Veric hears noises. Evil sounds. Dark whispers. Only Veric hears. Nobody else. Veric thought noises came from Abandoned house. One night, when nobody was watching him... Veric sneaked into the house. But Veric did not like what he saw. Veric had to run away! He saw an evil necromancer. A trapped woman. That is what Veric saw. Poor Veric doesn't know what will happen. You must save trapped woman. Go into the Abandoned house, then go into cellar. Cellar leads to secret passage. Follow secret passage. Hurry! Silly people underestimate Veric. Veric makes all of this happen. Adventurers is Veric's favourite. Veric sends lots and lots of adventurers to save woman. Then he traps them, and Veric eats adventurers! Mmm... Tasty Adventurers... (Female) Noldyn, Middle Class: Voice Type: Mysterious, Dreamy, Soft I am Noldyn, I run the Alchemy shop. I can sell you the finest ingredients and potions, just let me know what you need. Take a look. Good doing business with you. Ingredients for any potion you can imagine. The finest potions from anywhere in Rochebere. I earn a good living selling ingredients to the people of Rochebere. Many of the things I sell are grown in the countryside, while more valuable ingredients are grown here or imported to me from other parts of Tamriel. Classes Note: Some of these classes aren't used in the voices I've put here, but will be used in Part 2. Beggar Spare a coin for an old beggar. So... Hungry... Please... Just one septim for me? Poor I earn just enough gold to keep myself full, and a roof over my head. My jobs not perfect, but as long as I have a bed to sleep in and a roof over my head I'm happy. I may not have much coin, but at least I'm not on the streets. If only I earned a few more septims to feed my family... It's lucky I live on my own. I don't have the coin to feed a family. (Male only) My wife says I should try to get a new job so we can move to a bigger house. (Female only) My husband brings in just enough money for the food. It's rare that we have leftover septims. Farmer Working on the farm is tough work, but it gives me enough gold for food. One day I'll take my fathers place, and I'll be in charge of the farm. I'm glad I live in the countryside. The centre of Rochebere is far too busy for my liking. You'll never see a finer district in all of Rochebere... I hope the sun stays bright and warm, it's excellent for my crops. I can't think of a more idyllic life than here in the countryside. Middle class It's a good enough life here in Rochebere. At least, for me it is. It's a good life here in Rochebere for me and my family. Rochebere isn't too bad. I earn a living, and my house is more than substantial. I stay home to do the cooking and cleaning. Not much else to say. I earn the gold for my family working in the mainstreet. The residential district is perfect. It's near the shops but not too crowded like the mainstreet. Noble I don't see why I bother leaving my home. All I see when I go out are Rochebere's filthy eyesores. Please, don't get too close to me. I wouldn't want to get dirt on my clothes. What makes these beggars think they can just stay on the streets? Disgraceful... I don't need to cook my meals for my family, the servants do it for us. AnkhAscendant
Have you got all the (female) voices you need? If not I may have to find a tutorial that teaches me what I need to do (and then make sure my voice doesn't sound hideous). (I know this is nitpicky, but it looks a little strange that the Dunmer are calling themselves 'Dark Elves' rather than 'Dunmer' ^^; ) And now my real question... how do you pronounce the city name? .-. "Roshe-bear"? "Roch-eh-bey-rey"?

You can vary some of the lines if you want (Change Dark elf to Dunmer if you prefer etc.). The city, Rochebere, is pronounced "Roach- Bear" (Roach as in Cockroach).

samv96UK
Will do, so none of the other lines are available? Dam, I really wanted to give veric a try lol Yeah, unfortunately Veric was one of the first NPC's I got the actor for! Seemed to be quite popular as at least three people went for his role! I'll make a part 2 thread when I've got more lines available, by the way. I'm trying not to get too many at the moment, since I've already got quite a few lines that I haven't put into the game yet.
