Freckles on player char's

I see a lot of save games and armor mod pic's of chars with freckles, I know theres a file within the game sources for heads

that has freckles.

 

What I'm after is the method in which you get a player to use that texture/head-face nif

 

Is it a console thing ot do I need edit that race (then all Race has them)

It's very very veryyyy simple :)

 

1. Download freckles face textures. My favourite are Cute Freckles or Improved Freckles Skyrim. Search on Nexus for some you like.

2. Use Nexus Mod Manager to install.

 

2.5. Or if you like to install manually... go to your Skyrim female textures folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\female

Or if you're on 64-bit PC:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\female

Extract the texture from the .rar that you downloaded in step 1 and place in folder.

***But this will more than likely not work if you are using a custom race (as sometimes they set there own path for where they want a freckles texture)

In that case just go to

Data\textures\actors\character\NAME OF YOUR CUSTOM RACE

There should be various body and face textures in there. Extract Freckles texture the same way.
