Grogrokl Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 (edited) I've tried Oblivion Reloaded 6.5 lately and one thing I've noticed is that every now and then all colors on the screen disappears and the entire world becomes black and white and then after a while the colors come back again. Is this a bug or an intentional effect? Does it happen only to me? Maybe it's supposed to illustrate a cloud passing by the sun or something like that but I don't find it convincing. ReverendFelix Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 I think that is the low health and/or fatigue shader kicking in. It can be disabled if you don't like it. I use OR and love it's water, terrain noise, and fps stuff.
Grogrokl Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 Yeah, it was the fatigue thing. Every time I jumped the screen went black and white. I have disabled it now. There is a lot of good things in OR but also a lot of stuff which gives a bad first impression. I thought the black and white thing was either a bug or that I had installed it wrong.

valhalex86 Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Now that we are discussing about OR, I think that there is no more need Oblivion Grass Overhaul right? it has it's own. And other stuff like LOD and that?. I think I remember that i read some post of Alenet saying that grass LOD is not necessary if you use the OR plug in.
ReverendFelix Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Yeah OR handles grass nicely, with customization too. Careful with that though, save a back up OR ini first. I ended up with sone wild sideways monster grass once!
