0.18.13 automatic purge on launch after update

So I just updated to 0.18.13 and the 1st thing it did on startup after the update was purge all my installed mods. Was that intentional or a new bug?

Silly question, but how do you know it purged all your mods?

Did it put up some kind of message saying "Purging"?

Or are you going by all mods disabled?

It does purge Sims 4 automatically. If you saw it purge a different game that may be a bug.

 

With Sims 4 we changed the directory structure of how it deploys so we have to purge on the first start so it doesn't leave any orphaned files in the old location.

Yes, on launch it popped up a notification box saying "Purging Mods".

Only game so far I manage with Vortex is Skyrim SE, so I guess you can log this as a bug. Obviously re-deploying returned it all, but it did create a moment of panic.

Please - log it as a bug through Vortex. Click the upper right dots

Then click Send Feedback.

Since Tannin commented, it is not likely to get lost, but for tracking, through Vortex is best.
