ranoth
Hello everyone! I have a simple request.Send me on a quest. What I mean is suggest some great quest mods for me to install.I have no quests to go on right now. ( I know... sad. ) I get lost looking at all the different quest mods available. I would like something with a lot of thought put into it, not just another "Item quest".My character is a noble hero who will gladly help all in need and delights in bringing justice to evil doers. :P Thank you all for your help. Now, I am off to pack my gear.
JCP768
The Oblivion quest (mod) list In particular I love Integration: The Stranded Light which has a lot of very interesting and fulfilling quests as well as good stories, and interesting characters. The quests and gameplay make use of:race, attribute/skill, quest, and other recognition (ie: If you're a Khajiit you might not have to convince a Khajiit that you are a friend.) Multiple Solutions... So to continue the example: if you aren't a Khajiit you will have several other options of how to convince them you're a friend. Ranging from having completed vanilla quests, doing them a favor, or a number of skill checks. Choices and Consequences as well as freedom. A lot of the quests are possible to refuse or fail, but naturally this will usually have a detrimental effect, but also some of your actions during the mod's quests, and even vanilla quests may have unforeseen benefits as well as consequences Immersion, and Integration into the world. Everything that takes place, everything you do, and even the characters themselves are all deeply rooted in the Elder Scrolls lore, as well as the setting and events happening in the vanilla game. This of course also takes place throughout 5 new joinable factions (2 of which have a large guild type settings and advancement systems.), 80+ quests, 24+ hours of silent dialogue, and the longest most realistic romance I've ever seen in a game, as well as many other small features, benefits, rewards, etc. that you earn throughout the mod. scarycave
If you'd like a combat heavy quest there's Werewolf - Legends of the North - Version 2. Link: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/24453It's has several fully voiced Npcs, and adds a ton of werewolves to the northern mountains for you to beat silly. The werewolves themselves add a "death-claw" feel to the game which I felt the game was missing. It sounds kind of cheap to bring this up but I have a quest designed for good-character builds. It's not too short and has a few unique puzzles. It started out as a quest to give the player a weapon and said weapon was enchanted, so I ran with it and ended up with this quest:http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42699You need 20 or more fame to even start it. Lanceor
From the Oblivion Nexus main page, you can select Files > Top Files > Most Endorsed Files Of All Time > Quests and Adventures. Or if you're lazy, here's a link that takes you there. :)
