Times you wish you had video ability in game

The other night I did the decapitation finishing move and the corpse got up to fight with no head and I don't recall any of the other bandits using magic spells at the time

The corpse didn't turn into a pile of ashes either the second time I killed it

Have you had those times when you wish it was recordable?

Shot down a hawk (needed those bloody feathers) and as the corpse fell from the sky a NPC goes "Be careful with that!" just as the bird plops down in front of him just narrowly missing his head. A nearby women then sees the corpse and says "Oh my" before walking off. Needless to say this was my proudest moment in Skyrim, for once people at least said things that seemed fitting or reasonable. However a nice duck and cover move from the guy I almost hit with the bird, and maybe a guard coming up to clean the bird up, or even a beggar coming over for dinner would have made it better... But we're getting there. Right?

Not in skyrim.. but in rune, its always just as funny when you manage to chop off an opponents sword arm, pick it up and then chase him with it trying to beat him with his own arm... to death. then its also funny, when he finds a chicken, and he "magically" (as if he still had his arm on) lifts it up in the air, takes a bite and the arm respawns right there on his shoulder all covered in blood. of course it was also always fun to chop off peoples heads, then throw their own heads at them after they respawned next time. This all of course happens in multiplayer, what a wonderful game...

In skyrim its mostly just been ragdoll animations, for example when i first tried to kill a giant....

Just yesterday, when I was clearing some beautiful cave with lots of waterfalls and high platforms above the water. Usually, followers tend to be very disturbed by these places and if you jump off a cliff, you're on your own, followers will start running to retrace their steps back the way they came following the navmesh. Yesterday, one of them jumped after me - I thought she had just fallen off the cliif and redid the dive twice just to make sure, but no, she actually jumped. How? No idea. But I wished I had a 3rd person camera filming this - I tried to with Fraps but the angle was never right. A couple of days before, as we were chasing thugs on foot through a snow storm, the same follower jumped astride Frost to catch up - they're not supposed to ride when the player isn't either, that's most certainly a glitch but I love these.

I love to tweak AI and I love these moments when NPCs don't quite behave the way they've been programmed to - most of the time, they give me a good laugh, this time it made me want to ask "how did you do that?!..."

saarthal, during that college quest. i was trying to figure out that one puzzle with the 6 rotating stones, bird, fish and i think snake, anyway i wondered around the whole blessed place for 20min trying to find the stones to show me the right pattern, only to finally find them BEHIND the stupid rotating stones. probably the biggest derp moment in gaming iv ever had, lol. Ah yes, those "What the?" moments are what I really enjoy about this game.

Strolling past Fort Greymoor with my new buddy the "Stray Dog" when of course the bandits take offense to our presence, a few well aimed arrows to thin the numbers then switch to the reliable sword and shield, thank goodness for the "Dance of Death" mod, makes slaying those nasty guys all the more enjoyable. Manage to get a few good kill moves in before an awesome decapitation of the Bandit Chief, of course while the move is playing I have no idea where the head actually went.

A quick loot of the bodies for any worthwhile gear, and then off we go back towards Whiterun. It's then I notice something rolling along the road in front of us - yes the bandit chief's head, helmet and silly grin still attached, gave me a good laugh following a rolling head all the way back down the road to the Honningbrew Meadery, only to have it stop near the road and slowly fall into the White River. Decapitation is now a sport!
