Skyrim Mod not showing in Game

Greetings. I have recently started downloading mods for different games.

Currently I have downloaded a few mods and I can't seem to have it show

in the game itself. I have gone to NMM and it says a mod is active. Let's

say Skimpy Armour. Nice. In-game doesn't affect anything.

Am I missing something here?? I read people talking about CBBE 2 models

and such. Is that the problem? Currently I only have skimpy Armour mod done

Did you add the line to bEnableFileSelection=1 to your skyrimprefs located in mydocuments/mygame/skyrim/skyrimprefs that line makes mods appear in game proper add it under [Launcher]

It should look like this by default it's set to 0 and need's too be changed to 1 in order for mods to show in game properly

[Launcher]

bEnableFileSelection=1

Some mods require skse to work properly, if you keep a url shortcut to all mods you may use read the description page carefully in case the mod requires skse to work,and some mods require script dragon but I haven't downloaded anything yet that requires script dragon!..

Usually the description page from the mod well indicate if skse is needed

skse can be found here Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE)

I haven't tried that one, however, if it requires CBBE models then you need to download the CBBE retexture as well for the armor to look right upon your character and NPC's.
