Tester1189
Hello there, I am new to the modding scene and am having a bit of trouble. I am attempting to export an animation from an existing Skyrim mod to an fbx format using havok2fbx. I have everything I need from 3ds max to havok sdk, but I am unable to successfully convert to an fbx. I assume that since the animations are from Skyrim SE, I need to convert them to 32 bit first, but I notice that the file size goes down significantly when I do. I believe there is some sort of error during conversion, but I have no idea what it could be. I have attached the original hkx file and my converted hkx file in the hopes that someone could figure out what I did wrong with the conversion. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Note: The converter complains that the skeleton.hkx I am using does not exist for some reason. I have attached that as well.
PeterMartyr
yeah it f***ed, I have 2010 havok tool both 32 & 64 I loaded SE one in 64Tool saved a xml then use 32Tool to save it as 32.hkx, took me seconds to do it, and was fine, I know you don't blame your tools, but using the right ones help. Use Google to find them, I am not 100% sure if I won't get into trouble if I give the link... Search for: HavokPcXsContentTools_2010-2-0_20101115 & HavokPcXsContentTools_X64_2010-2-0_20101115 They are the one you need, the other types in the depository won't work for Skyrim Edit If a Moderator could say if it is OK to supply the link I'll will do it, I will check back tomorrow, but silence is golden & I will take that has a no. I have gotten closer and seem to be able to convert from 64 bit to 32 bit now, but I am still having issues converting to .fbx. havok2fbx seems to behave as though it is working, but no fbx file is generated. I have attached a screenshot of what I get.
