[Facepalm] I activated a mod and almost ruined my own game

Okay, FO3Edit is a godsend tool. It helped me diagnose a problem that I would have never guessed is a problem.

 

I am playing FO3 with CRAFT and FOOK2 loaded (among other things), and FOOK2 requires CALIBR.

 

So I played for a week with no problems.

 

Today, I can't get the game working. FOSE loads, got to "Please stand by", then it just crash to desktop.

 

I can't figure out what I did wrong, as I thought I did no changes to the load order.

 

So I ran FO3EDIT, and have it check the load order.

 

First it spat out that CALIBR is not loaded. I facepalmed, as I tried removing CALIBR not realizing that FOOK2 requires it loaded. So I added it back in via nexusModman, and moved the loadorder so it's before FOOK2.

 

Then it spat out ANOTHER error: CRAFT FOOK Weapons reference to FOOK.ESM, FOOK.ESM file not found

 

Then I realized I must have loaded an OLD version of this ESP (never updated) that uses original FOOK, not the new FOOK2.

 

So I removed it from load order, and created the new merged patch. And VOILA, it's working!

 

Now, if I can only solve this "will not exit" problem...
