huntsman2310
So people are divided over whether the next fallout will take place in either Boston on the Eastern Coast, or somewhere back in the South West. Honestly, I want to see them return to the central states. (Or as you call them, the Midwest) So the setting for this one, could be, say, Chicago as the central hub. And you are a resident of a town attacked by one of two major factions in the american wasteland, the NCR, or the Eastern Brotherhood of Steel. From here you get a choice about which faction discovers you in the wreckage of the town. Now there would be three endings. The one where you stay with the faction that took you in as a baby, join up with the opposite side, or expel both of them from your wasteland with the help of the third faction. What do you think? Zalman1337
I think you should apply to be a writer for Bioware.

BarnacleSex
I think New Orleans would be pretty cool, with a post-apocalyptic Mardi Gras celebration and all.
Eliax
Well, this seems a nice idea but : -Chicago will look like Pittsburgh in The Pitt, -I think three factions only is too little, why not 5 or 6 ? There can be Neo-Catholics,Neo Nazis,The New Socialist Rebuplic, and a "New" faction like the enclave wich can be in the sight to unify the America under one flag. There's plenty of ideas. Otherwise, what I'd like to see in Fallout 4 is the largest map and locations that can be done, with a lot of people in the cities,a little bit less in the towns, and NO ONE on the roads, except raiders...Having few more companions than in New Vegas would be nice, also the possibility to go in a relationship with someone, and to explore some new towns, populated by colons and adventurers with no laws (This can open a lot of quests I think),and others cities wich would be civilised, populated, and the better would be a citie who came out of a Vault, completly created with the GECK,wich would be like Tranquility Lane in Fallout 3. Another idea wich I'd like to have,a simple nuclear winter.200 years after the bombs fell,it should be done,no ?
huntsman2310
^ I meant three main factions.
Eliax
Three main factions ? Well why not. But,around the "departure" quest, there is something that would be nice,on the RPG side : The possibility to definite where you want to start.A vault dweller who get rejected from his home,a town resident,a sheriff,a scavenger...With multiples backgrounds, and departure quests, wich involve you in the same situation but differently...If you're a prospector, you find a note,if you(re a vault dweller, you find a radio signale,if you're a town resident you hear it...Well,im not good at english so i think something like this would be nice. nenina
To add to your topic, it would be great if your character could choose a side just so that they can backstab them at a critical point for one of the other factions.
NetDigger
I would like to see the option to start a new town of my own,or a new faction.but for my understanding there wount be be a Fallout 4.only an online game,a MMO or a MMORPG.
bamff13
While I know it goes against the general norms of the fallout world, I would like to see the game migrate over to eastern part of the world, just because its been completely untouched by the fallout world and I think it would be interesting to see what they can do with an entirely new environment.
