niston
I just wanted to let you folks know that, ever since I've upgraded to premium, I get massive problems with the editor used on this site. Not sure how to explain this, but half the time I edit a post, an old version (edit of, say, 3 hours ago) is being loaded. As this is sometimes not immediately apparent, I sometimes end up hitting save and content added within the last 3 hours (to keep with the example) is simply wiped out. Which is slightly aggravating, tbh. Also, when saving an edit or creating a new post, the edits or new posts sometimes don't appear unless the site is force reloaded (Ctrl-Reload). Other times, the whole edit is added as a block of what appears to be HTML to the original post. I did not have any of this before upgrading :o NB: It just happened again when writing this post. Also got a javascript error about being unable to read a property get_Text, or something. Cancelling, editing all over again and posting "fixed" it. Pickysaurus
Hi niston, These are indeed odd problems. I don't believe it's related to your Premium membership. I'll see if I can replicate this problem. Can you possibly grab some screenshots of the HTML blocks if they occur?
niston
It worked fine for a while now. That is, until I logged on today  Tried to make a post. Half of it (everything after the first code-block) was cut off after posting and seemingly disappeared in /dev/null. While I'm absolutely positive that I used a valid closing tag on the code block. So I tried to edit my post again, and this is what happened after posting: https://imgur.com/a/6Z8fbh7 To me, it looks like it's still showing the editor even after posting the edit, and the entire thing is in a kind of very effed-up state. Please do take note: - When clicking on "Save changes" button, I get the error message box shown at the window's top- When clicking on either "Use full editor" or "Cancel" (after dismissing the error message box), exactly nothing happens at all- I never used a single <p> entity in my post, it must be the forum software adding these tags (just btw) I tried to edit my post some more, reloading the forum and clicking on my post again - But it always came out like this. niston
Aaaand it's the same with the above post here now. Can't edit it, trying to do so ends in the very same situation.
niston
More nexus editor weirdness, this time recorded live on video: https://youtu.be/GskbSU98qpc Notice how the text changes most everytime I hit Ctrl-Reload. It's sometimes serving old and even older revisions of my answer to the post, likely at random! To the best of my knowledge, I'm not using an ISP-side forced proxy. I'm certainly not using any sort of client side proxy. So, no idea what causes this, but it is super-annoying AF. Also can't be sure what the user who posted the question is going to see, when they load the page.
