Yep, Bioware finally "officially" announced it.

You can read more about it here;

And it's apparently essentially on Frostbite 2.

I'm interested in future news about it, hopefully they improved on the faults of Dragon Age 2.

Well, they said they have been working on it for two years already and still have another year to go. There should be at least more than the 15 different recycled locations, like there was in DA2.

Maybe they've learned from their mistakes?

Nah.

I heard the goddamn dialogue wheel is still in there as well.

No word on a Toolset. And since they're changing game engines, if there ever is one it'll likely be long after release. :whistling:

Here's the link to the BSN's forum: Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.

Only one sub-forum so far, ("General Discussion") but already serveral topics, including Mark Darrah's blog: :thumbsup:

The plot is all about the Templars, the chantry and the mages.

This is why I am personally not looking forward to DA3. They already had a game all about the mages and templars. It was called DA2. I do like the conflicts between the two but I never thought it warranted an entire game around them. I am aalso still not too happy that the game is yet again 100% human focused.

I loved the dwarves! Want to see more of them. But nope, humans.

From what the developers already said, it seems that it is moving towards the right way, though I'm disappointed that the Dialogue Wheel is maintained. I hope at least it will be improved from it's current, simplistic nature.

David Gaider said some months back that "they are considering it". So we should not get our hopes up but not be completely sure that it won't come out either. However, experience has showed that the most successful games include a toolset allowing to be tuned in many and different ways thus maintaining their originality which leads to popularity and would ultimately gain more buyers even if these values are not directly linked. (personally I bought DAO Ultimate after I've noticed the numerous mods around the game)
