exanimis Posted October 22, 2008 Author Share Posted October 22, 2008 I've tried that with a resized sigil stone but the problem is that even when set at "view from a distance" the stone can't be seen from very far at all. I need a worldspace like anywhere else but I also need a stationary sun. It doesn't look like it can be done though. I'll have to make due with what I have. See what happens there.You are correct, and such a thing is a possibilty at a later date, however it was not suggested since getting an object to look and behave like a sun could be a rather difficult task, and would still require the same exact environmental changes as a "no sun" world. It was suggested that you ask youself really, truely, if a sun is needed for the mod to work since setting up something like this can be rather frustrating. If a sun isn't absolutely needed, you can focus on other aspects of the mod which would be more noticable, should you decide later, such an addition could still be made without having to change much of the existing settings. Thanks or all the answers and the info everyone. I will be using the over sized sigil stone as a distant object in the cave but not in the world.
