dubiousintent
Can't tell from that screenshot, but are you running a "post processor" like ENB or SweetFX? In which case, please see the 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article. Otherwise, what I see in the screenshot (once I enlarged it) is a "darker area" under where the Player is standing with some sharp borders to it. That suggests you have some mod conflicts with terrain in that area that are not blending together properly, though it is possible the sharp edges are the result of shadows cast from buildings backlit by a low angle light source (e.g. moonlight) behind them. Did you toggle "ArchiveInvalidation" after installing all plugins? Potential conflict mods from what can be seen in that screenshot of your "load order" would be "Electro City -Highways" and "Nevada Skies". If you add (or remove) any VWD/LOD textures (such as NMC, Vurt's WFO, or Ojo Bueno), please see the 'Checklist Item #15 & 16' entries in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide regarding the need to run both TES4LL and FNVLODGen; or xLODGen - Terrain LOD beta for FNV, FO3, FO4, FO4VR, TES5, SSE, TES5VR, ENDERAL. Also recommend you read the 'LOD/VWD Texture Packs' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article first. For future reference: We REALLY need to see a "load order" as produced by "LOOT"; to include the main game and DLC files. With modded games its the sequence, not merely the list of mods, which is the cause of many problems. LOOT's sort gives a good first approximation, correcting the most obvious issues and is sufficient for most players. You can make minor adjustments to the order and tell LOOT how to remember them. It's in the on-line documentation under "Metadata". Instructions on how to copy it's list for posting are in the "How to ask for help" article, and "Checklist Item #11' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
AusAllerWelt
This is a known issue. It especially happens when using the Pip-Boy light at night. So far nobody has found out how to fix it but this is an issue with the game itself and not caused by any mod. It might be possible that mods make it more noticeable, though. JimboUK
It can also happen with too many light sources on the ground mesh, we had the problem with a house mod we made, in the end we used rocks to hide it.
Purr4me
Hello,i play FNV a lot of time but this is the most annoying s*** ive ever encountered. Especially in night when i love to play. Any idea how to fix it? https://imgur.com/a/yEAp6uI <-- bug and my modlist Could I have the saved game file from this?I have my suspicions. Possibly a bad mod or Direct x issue on the machine. This is related to shaders. Kitty
