theLiminator
Hi, i'm finding it extremely difficult to get this body replacement mod working. I've used archive invalidation, all folders are in the right spot (ie. no data/data or meshes/meshes). I tried getting the mod to work as a clothing and as a body replacement, neither work. I've installed all the unofficial patches on the GotY edition of Oblivion. I also have the universal skeleton installed. I don't know what's going on. LFact
If you've used archive invalidation, can you tell us what method you used(BSA redirection is recommended usually)? And if you applied BSA redirection, have you checked date of original BSA files(they should be older than dummy BSA for redirection)? theLiminator
I've used BSA redirection, also I've used that tool called the archive invalidation invalidator (or w/e it was called). I've tried archive invalidation from a various range of tools. So i'm not sure if that's the problem. I'm quite lost :(. I don't get what you mean by checking the date of the files (sorry, I'm a noob).
DrakeTheDragon
I guess LFact meant, if you're using Steam Oblivion, your BSA files are dated far too recently for replacement-type mods to work, Archive Invalidation applied or not. It's a common issue with Oblivion from Steam, Valve was unaware of the critical effect of file dates in Oblivion when deciding whether to use loose files or internal files. If you're using Steam Oblivion, you need to redate your BSAs to somewhere back in 2006 (or was it 2004?), either by clicking "Reset BSA timestamps" in the Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM)'s Archive Invalidation Utilities or via a file redate tool.
