Adding bones to skeleton.hkx

I am reworking some of the default animations but I want to add another bone to the skeleton. I have been searching for a solution which I didn't find, but I now know that you have to add bones to the .hkx version of the skeleton if u want them to be animated.

 

does anyone know how i go about this? also can i edit the skeleton.nif in 3ds max then export it to havok content tools or do i go about this another way? thanks!

But pls let me know if you make any progress...i want to add bones as well or alter 'em, but with a weapon model/skeleton :D
