agerweb
I need to Cut down the SSE Skyrim.esm to fit a large mod into the CK. For Oldrim I could use TesVSnip, but that is not available for SSE. SSEEdit will of course not edit the Skyrim.esm file so I am a bit stuck. Is there anything else around that will allow me to do this; essentially I need to strip out all the worldspaces apart from Tamriel and a few cells. Not this is just for the CK not for running in game.
Di0nysys
Copy and rename a Skyrim.esm into anything else, this will let you cut and remove as many records from it as you want. So long as you don't renumber any formid's, you'll be able to use that as a master after renaming it into Skyrim.esm. Worldspace and cell records are the biggest records by far. I'd start there. agerweb
I did try that - but was put off by SSEEdit flagging errors after all the worldspaces amongst other things, can I just ignore that? Edit: I tried it and seems to work - keeping fingers crossed as usual with CK, surprisingly the SSE CK has less capacity than oldrims.
