First off, my apologies. I am almost certain that this topic exists... somewhere on the forum. I tried a dozen Search angles; all of them came back with 1000 results. As I only have a few more years of lifetime left, I didn't want to spend one of them just scanning through the results feedback to find THE existing most appropriate thread

Obviously, I'm new to the forum, but not at all new to Skyrim. (I'm approaching 1500 hours of gameplay.) I started to look at the Steam Workshop listing of available mods and started drooling like a kid in a candy store. 71 installed mods later, I started yet another PC in the fascinating realm of Skyrim. The additions made the game, already entrancing, much, much more enthralling. However, something in the mix also made the game seriously unstable. Like a freeze or CTD about every 5 minutes unstable. Still, I put in about 100 hours enduring the crashes-and-restart sequence and was vastly more entertained than with the vanilla game. Still, my tolerance eventually became super-saturated. An online friend over at HookedGamers suggested I dump the Steam mods and install them again over here at Nexus. Theoretically MUCH more stable. So dump I did, and here I am.

My initial impression of this site is that, wow, there are certainly a LOT of creative people here. But when I eagerly went to see what was to be had, my enthusiasm was seriously dampened. It seems like the ONLY viewing option is "Most Recent Additions", and then just 9 selections per page. Diving in to take a closer look and then resuming the review takes me back to Page One, even if the last page I had selected had been Page 6, or 10, or 23, or whatever. Then endless clicking Next until I got back to where my browsing had left off. In a word, tedious.

I would dearly love to see some of those Steam sorting options implemented. Especially "Most Popular", "All-time Favorites", "Your Subscriptions", to go along with "Most Recent". And then instead of just Next, a string of page numbers so I can _quickly_ jump back to where I had had last been browsing.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to be informed that the dispaly and sorting features already exist here; I just failed to recognize them. (Comes from being a techno-dinosaur.) If so, I'd appreciate if someone would set me on the right course.
