darkdill
I'm using a unique arrow type that I'd rather not see be used by NPCs (i.e. they equip the arrow after I shoot it into them), but I have no idea how to alter them so they can't be retrieved after firing. There's no visible option in the CK I can see that says "cannot be recovered" for arrow types. Edited September 24, 2012 by darkdill
darkdill
I'll guess no one knows how to do this...?
NeighborlyNinja
That's kind of an obscure task, the construction kit usually disappoints when it comes to things like this. (At least, people who aren't super familiar with the CK can't easily accomplish these tasks). If I were you, I'd either try to simply ignore it (unless it's a godly powerful arrow) or install the mod that completely eliminates the chance of recovering arrows to zero, rendering it impossible for that to ever happen again. I think this one can do it.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11941  Edited September 24, 2012 by NeighborlyNinja

As for the arrows themselves, they're from the Aetherial Bows and Arrows mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23802 I modified them to fit the speed and gravity from ABT, while also increasing their damage, but I'm hesitant to uninstall ABT because I use both Wrye Bash and ASIS; it takes a while to rebuild those patches. EDIT: One thing I did see on Bound Arrows was the addition of some kind of "Destruction Data" in the projectile file, but I have no idea what that does. I haven't tweaked it, but who knows if it might be the right place to look? Edited September 24, 2012 by darkdill

I'll bet that you can figure it out through a direct comparison between the traits of iron arrows and that of bound arrows. If I were to try to figure this out for you, that's where I'd look. Best of luck, let's hope you don't have to deal with some crazy scripting or something and that there is merely a box to check after all. Edited September 26, 2012 by NeighborlyNinja
