MarianHawk
Hello all, I have a problem when I make custom NPCs in CK. I put various spells and perks into the ability lists of these NPCs, and when I am near or talk to them in the game, some of them keep saying "Hey, skeever butt", "Melon nose", etc. How do I stop this @@?I erase some spells or perks, but I havent identified the cause. Ironman5000
It probably more likely to be related to the characters voice type, disposition, and mood which can all be set in the actor window.

MarianHawk
hmmm, I tried several things but nothing has been effective in result. I changed the mood to "Happy" or "Sad" or other moods, still no improvement...What cause this weird bug.... Or just several voices have nothing but "melon nose"/"skeever butt" to react player's interaction. T_T
Ironman5000
Well I am trying to pinpoint why your NPC would be saying this, however I found this which has the quotes you mentioned. Have you given this shout to the character at all? EDIT: Found this as console fix "setrelationshiprank player 4", sounds like it could be due the relationship set if any OR from looking around it might be because the voice you picked is invalid for that NPC. I would make sure the 'voice type' under Traits matches your NPC is not already, and if it's a friendly one set the 'Disposition' to 70. It seems to be a bug where the NPC cannot locate any dialogue so instead uses these insults - kind of a funny way for the NPC to tell the player that something is wrong  Edit 2: "addfac 5A1A4 1" is another console command which set NPCs to followers and fixes it for some people but dunno if you want that, try researching more into appropriate faction settings. Edit 3: You might have "playerfaction" set for your NPC(s), if so i'd remove it and replace with another one. Apparently the shout dialogue can be used by NPCs with this faction set. You don't need this one for NPCs to be friendly to the player anyway. Edited September 23, 2012 by Ironman5000
MarianHawk
Ironman, thanks for the great support. o/ o/ With your advices, I could finally solve the problem which has beeeeen lingering my mods for long time. ^ ^ I tried the advice of "Edit 3". I removed "PlayerFaction" from all the NPCs. then no one say "Hey ugly" or any thing like that.Their solute is as normal. ^ ^ For the "Throwing Voice", someone advised me to get rid of the shout from the NPCs in the past, but that didnt help. For the "SetRelationShip xxx" and "AddFac xxx", this was actually helpful for making the NPCs stop saying "Skeev butt" as long as they are in Follower Service. ^ ^ Anyway the cause is "PlayerFaction" which i initially put in their faction list. I thought this might have help the NPCs to be much friendly. This was completely wrong, the result is completely opposite. T_T Ironman, I really appreciate your help and kindness. ^ ^ /

MarianHawk
Thanks Iron, o/ o/ I am a humble modder (Script things are above my skill, hahaha ^ ^), still I have plenty things to do with the CK, so I will encounter some problem again. Can I add you to my "Friend List" in Nexus ?You are busy modder, so dont have much time to respond to all the time, still if I can contact you and talk about mods, I would be glad. ^ ^ Because currently I am making original "world" space to make a quest-like story mod where I put many dungeons for my story line. And if I am lack of imagination/ideas or encounter some little problems like this topic, maybe I talk with you or your friends to get some ideas. o/ o/ Ah (sigh), if we could meet in Elder Scrolls online and talk about Elder Scroll modding, I would really enjoy the game. lo lo lo
