Autumn4242
It seems no matter what mod I use (if any) there's only one type of male and female body, sure there are many great mods out there for different heights, weights, width, muscularity and heck breast size in so many different ways, but might it be possible to combine them in a way that assigns random(or not so random) body types to all NPCs? Perraine
Simple answer? no ...Longer answer ... Though I suppose it is "technically" possible, it would take a VERY dedicated modder with a HUGE amount of spare time do do it ...
eend123
Good question, I'd like to see this too. However, I suppose in that case al the 'different' NPC's should be editted manually and all of them should also manually be equiped with the right custom armor to fit the tall/short/thin/fat look. I know there is a mod around with fat women which has this done. There are just a few fat women in Skyrim with that mod. Might be a beginning for you. If you are especially talking about the (breast)size of the women, maybe you can download a clothing overhaul that replaces all the vanilla clothing with custom skeleton clothes (I know most of these overhauls are skimpy overhauls, causing all Skyrim to look like some kind of p*rn heaven, but there are a few clothing overhauls that just increase size and don't change the way clothes look furthermore). After that you might dive in CK and change height and size of as much NPC's as you like. Edited September 22, 2012 by eend123
IsharaMeradin
depends on the changes you want to see. Without editing the race record you can have each race with it's own unique texture & mesh. underwear can also be made to be unique per race. Additionally up to 11 texture variations can be applied via the weight slider for an additional bit of uniqueness. If you want to delve into changing the race record then not only can you have the above, but you can also have different skeletons and even animations all unique by race. The only drawback is that while the races can be unique from each other, not much aside from any added weight slider textures and/or facial features and skin color can distinguish members of the same race. There are several mods that do the above to various degrees of effectiveness and most aren't compatible with each other. But the thing that is lacking is a good way to get proper fitting armor on to the NPCs. Compared to making sure that the proper armor is used, adjusting the game to have unique looks for the races is easy However, none of these mods have really taken off since they all require the user to manually install mods for each of the races. JanusForbeare
it is "technically" possible, it would take a VERY dedicated modder with a HUGE amount of spare time do do it ... This. It was done for Oblivion. However, it takes an enormous amount of work, not only to design the new skeletons and vanilla clothes for them, but also to design a working code for the mod. Also, modded armours will not be compatible with the new bodies. Since VadersApp stopped supporting VORB a long time ago, I don't think he'll be working on something similar for Skyrim... but you can always ask him.
