Having issues with the picture

Ok, so I've been trying to play Skyrim PC for the last week, the opening part in the wagon is glitchy or something, gray and blocky images is all I can see, with a few flahses of the others in the wagon. The Pause screen looks fine, subtitles and dialogue are working just fine, just this thing with the blocky images.

I'm using a laptop and my video card is an Intel, I realize these are good reasons the game won't work correctly, but I firmly believe there is a way to do this anyway. I've been trying 3D Analyzer and think it may do the trick, my other thought would be a mod, can anyone else tell me if they've experienced this. I have some snapshots to show what I'm talking about

What you are seeing is artifacting from your graphic driver. Either you are running the game at too high graphics settings or there is a problem with your drivers. Try turning your settings down, and if that doesn't do it, try a clean install of the most updated drivers for your system. Nit knowing your specs, it could also be that your system is simply unable to run the game...did you check to make sure you meet the minimum specs?

I think my driver is the problem, my driver card is Intel HD Graphics Mobile.

Is there anything I can download to allow my driver card to be DirectX 9.0c compatible with 512MB video memory?

Also, I have a Intel Core i3-330M Processor and 4096 MB memory.

When I start Skyrim, I click on default settings, which puts it to low settings, so I'm not sure that is the problem, unless there are some other settings I can change.

How do I update my drivers?

Btw, I checked my compatibility through:

Thats where my info in the post came from.

I am not at all sure that your computer will be able to run Skyrim. I know some people have managed, but not knowing more about your system I can't say.

This is the link toIntelto check your drivers.

This link has info from Microsoft on how to find the latest compatible and download for your version of Windows.

There are various videos on you tube, etc about running Skyrim on low-end laptops, you can find many just by googling "Skyrim integrated graphic driver."

As far as settings, make sure that all the sliders are to the far left, FXAA is unchecked, all the details are at low or off, and uncheck all the water reflections. Also uncheck distant terrain detail fade. If you can get it running that way, you can try slowly increasing things until you get problems again.

You can check out these two sites for other ideas; looking for all of the options that increase performance over quality.

Good luck!
