LE Wrist-mounted Crossbow/Dartgun?

SO I'm an amateur modder, only adding things like waterwalking enchantments or simple retextures, and I've never been able to successfully edit any meshes. So, after countless hours of struggling with this thing, I'm requesting it here with the hopes someone interested and skilled enough would be willing to give it a shot. :pinch:

 

I'm currently doing a stealth playthrough as an evil assassin type, and I realized that, as I refused to use Archery or Destruction spells yet again, I had nothing ranged to use at all.

 

So the idea for this stealth weapon was born! The idea is simple though difficult to actually make. :sweat:

 

It'd function almost identical to a crossbow, but be much smaller, quieter, and maybe wrist mounted. I was hoping to make paralysis darts too, which I've worked on in the CK and have succeed (mostly) in making, but as bolts for crossbows.

 

Honestly, even a small, compact crossbow would do, just something you could see an assassin using to quietly paralyze and dispatch targets with, instead of an enormous, loud, and clunky crossbow like the vanilla ones.

 

I can learn quickly under pressure and I'm willing to offer any assistance I possibly can, so it wouldn't fall on one person (you?) to do the whole thing (unless that's preferable). :yes:

 

Please give this a chance! I'm willing to bet a whole lot of people would like this one, not just me. :)

Only if i could do this.... This is a seriously badass idea! I guess it could be done with some simple animations, like just outstretching the hand a bit, and like that. Well at least i think. But reloading would be tricky to animate.

 

Anyhow, i totally support this idea, if someone is down for it, then i'd be happy to design stuff.

I'm thinking it could be a dwarven weapon, that takes the place of a bracer/weapon? Well, I'm thinking that it could have an animated revolver type deal around the fore-arm. That way you only reload after... 10 shots, maybe? Just throwing ideas out there... Anyways, bolts, darts, or a "bullet" (small sphere-like projectile) that can be enchanted/poisoned.

EDIT: Maybe the Dark Brotherhood, the Thieves Guild, and the Dawnguard could have their own versions of the Wristbow / Dartgun / Whatever.

I personally like the word Wristbow, anyways... You've got my full support!*

*(Not that I can do anything to help... Unless you're going to need ideas... Or a story to be written)
