luzburg
Regarding the Septimus theory of deriving Dwemer blood by combining the other mer races into a sort of Aldmer concoction, does anyone else think he was just really lucky? Perhaps it was deemed enough of a sampling, but let's face it, there were some holes in the theory. Orsimer blood had been changed by a bit of Daedra, and Snow Elf blood had been poisoned for centuries, making them less than humanoid (white souls). Then there are the two elf races left out of the sampling altogether: The Maomer (Sea Elves from Pyandonea) and the Left Handed Elves (wiped out to extinction on the Redguards' homeland, Yokuda). Ah, well, seems like Bethesda used what they had on hand. Orsimer blood must remain overwhelmingly Aldmer if the Septimus theory was to work. i have no idea anymore. after all is said and done are orsimer truely elven anymore... at first i though not, but i just don't know after all this. :wallbash: The Orcs might not be 100% Elven anymore, you could argue that they are now half beast, half elf. The falmer still have 100% elven blood. They also retain civilised tendencies such as housing, decorative fixtures, weapon and armour crafting, domesticating animals, keeping slaves and raiding the surface. Giants are probably elven too, based on some of the evidence presented .
Enatiomorph
They are full 100% Elven. When Trinimac was eaten, their Elvish features and skin changed, that's it.They are just as much elves as the Dunmer.
