Pipious
Hello Nexus Community, Years ago, I was playing Skyrim with over 200 mods. Game was crashing a lot and I quit. Now I want to make a proper load order with the mods I want. I am using Vortex. I want to get for example this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4783 There are some requirements for it (trying to get the mods the creator used on the character too). Their requirements have requirements. I have failed so many times trying to play smooth, I lost the joy of modding. There is a CBBE version for that armor but the creator also used UNP products. How? Even when I was trying to with full CBBE, my body was turned white or invisible in some cases. Please, guide me. I also want to use Lover's Lab and ENBs. Couldn't get them working either when I was playing earlier. Can some experienced one please guide me through my modding adventure? We can also talk on Skype or Discord. Please let me know, if you are interested.
Deleted55991832User
As for the "Frost witch".. try this one out for size.. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2314 it should work for you, providing you have CBBE, the LL mods i have no experience with, apart from some armors, and ENB is not something i use.. I will say that recreating a mod authors personal model can be more than a tad difficult, I would suggest downloading a preset or two and fiddle, diddle and quazwiddle with that until you get the result you want.. this might sound condescending but, I assure you it is not the intention, many "links" on mod pages can lead you to the LE pages and if you are not careful you will have conflicts and even crashes because of the incompatabilities.. The best advice I can give you is, if you find that a mod has multiple requirements that you DO NOT plan to use for anything other than said mod.. move along and find something that will better suit your load order and play-style, getting bloated with several mods in order to get that ONE mod working is simply not worth it.. feel free to PM me if you have qustions you think i might have an answer to.. if I have no idea I might be able to point you to someone who has... anjenthedog
Can't speak for others, but I've been having problems with some of the popular armors of late (since the 1.5.80/2.0.16 update). I can't say authoritatively but I *suspect it has something to do with the change from the HDT-Physics framework (obsolete under 1.5.80/2.0.16) to the HTD-SMP framework (1.5.80/2.0.16 compliant) and possibly other changes in the 1.5.80/2.0.16 engines. That is, along with any published contentions between mods. ps> afaik, and I noticed this only lately, but Desert-X (I think I have the right name) armors quite often require use of the associated Desert-X bodyslide to appear correctly EX: I installed the Gwenda red-riding hood outfit last week. I uninstalled it this past weekend after trying to don any of the pieces resulted in featureless purple garb that looked nothing like the advertised images on the mod page. (with or without clothing/armor refits in bodyslide64. I have a bodyslide for my character. And I don't plan on yanking it to use an armor, although I fully accept a mod author's right to require a given bodyslide.
Deleted55991832User
Hmmm.. I use the mod i linked and have no problem with it, I use the same presets in bodyslide as i do to all the different armors and clothing mods ( 5 different presets to be exact, thereby creating a semblance of variety).. and unless some "sections" are VERY large I have no problems with clipping and/or Physics... mind you, I always play off-line and only let the game "Update" (a fancy name for changing the ads) when i´m positively FORCED to open steam...I highly recommend doing so, it does save one an abundance of grief...
